Overview
The Girraween Country Inn, an elegant European two storey Inn, nestled in amongst the bushland of the Girraween National Park, known for its spectacular wildflowers, dramatic landscapes and unique wildlife… all right here on our doorstep with direct walking access to the park. Catering for couples and families, with ensuite king rooms and family rooms, as well as a self contained chalet, we have all your accommodation needs covered. There are fireplaces throughout the Inn and the Chalet, in the restaurant and function rooms, as well as in the guest lounges, so your sure to be warm in the winter months. Licensed Bar and Restaurant, open 7 days in the season, breakfast and dinner. Open to the public in the season and all year for breakfast. Bookings essential. Situated in the heart of the Granite Belt Wine Region, Ballandean is a much sought after destination, surrounded by wineries on Eukey road, we are easily accessible to the region’s award winning boutique wineries, craft breweries and stand out restaurants. Guests will enjoy, genuine Australian country bush atmosphere, granite boulders, unique to this area, pet friendly enjoy the scenery of the national park on our 42 acres, with your furry friends in toe, waking every day to a complimentary continental and full hearty table service breakfast.

Josh and Haydon have set up a wonderful place to stay with all the finishing touches. The accommodation was very comfortable and the home-cooked breakfast was plentiful and superb.

“Girraween Country Inn- Amazing!”
I loved the ambience of Girraween Country Inn from the moment we drove up to the property! So visually appealing. We were greeted warmly by our hosts Josh and Hayden who were attentive to our every need, while respecting our privacy. The room was delightful, and well appointed (complete with dressing gowns & a selection of home-made cake for 2). The views from the dormer windows, of those amazing boulders which are so typical of the Granite Belt, completed the picture. And the best was yet to come! Breakfast was a revelation! Superbly presented, totally delicious, 3 courses prepared onsite and truly enormous helpings, all included in the room price! We'll definitely be back.

The Location was great very tranquil and relaxing. The 2 course meal we had on our 1st night was a very generous Serving and well cooked and presented. Breakfast was made to order and just what we asked for plus a fruit platter. Was dog friendly

Stunning property and grounds with wildlife at your doorstep and a nature track to hike up to a scenic lookout. Food was exceptiona with fresh baking each morningl. Good access to local vineyards and national park. Staff were friendly and super accommodating

“Country retreat perfect for hiking launches”
The Inn is in a quiet location surrounded by nature and close to many hiking options. The hosts Shelly and Doug were outstanding. The food for both breakfast and dinner exceeded our expectations and was appreciated as other options are a drive away.

A classy home-comfort stay in the country. Beautiful surroundings, comfortable room, warm and welcoming hospitality and delicious food and wine. The chocolate brownies and other pastries laid on as a treat were superb. Plus it is 100% dog friendly. We even had our fur baby with us at Dinner.

Staff friendly and very helpful. Good quality bathroom towels, although tap water not suitable for drinking, plastic bottled water was provided. Warm fire in communal lounge area.
