“Wonderful place to stay, highly recommend.”

The property was excellent! Very large and comfortable house that we shared with another family. We loved that it had an EV charger, so convenient to be able to charge our cars without leaving the house. Bedrooms were very comfortable and large kitchen / dining / lounge area was fabulous. The showers were great - good pressure and we never ran out of hot water. And (for the first time ever in a holiday home) ample toilet paper was supplied 👏 We really couldn’t fault this place, we were even able to checkin much earlier on the day. The owner was very friendly and even popped over to say hello whilst she was there.

It was very spacious for 6 Adults and 2 toddlers. The kitchen was large and well appointed. There were 3 toilets and a bathroom and ensuite.

Such a lovely property and Liz looked after us so well.

Great space for a larger group. Cooks kitchen. Fire kept us warm.

The house with in a central location and close to great food, wine and National Parks. Balmurray House had everything we needed for our family of 11 I have to say that the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in and the luxurious linen kept us warm and cosy on the -3 degree mornings.

Balmurray House far exceeds any other accommodation we as a group of 9 have ever stayed in the Stanthorpe/Ballandean area.The house is beautifully furnished, well decorated, spotlessly clean well equipped kitchen and laundry, family sized fridge, and stove. Top quality beds, pillows and linen, super comfy. Living area, dining area is more than big enough for a large group, plenty of seating room, even has a small office nook. Very peaceful surroundings, mustn't forget the cows and calves who come to visit during the day. Liz works tirelessly to ensure her guests have a stay to remember.

Everything was exceptional, including the house itself, how clean everything was, the space was large and cozy and they had the fire going when we arrived.

Beautiful house in a location convenient for the national park and vineyards. Liz was a great host and let us check out late.

We had the most relaxing time at the house. We were 6 adults and 4 children and there was plenty of room for all of us. There were great board games to play and the TV didn’t go on at all. Liz was incredibly accomodating allowing us an early check in and late checkout as we had an 11 month old baby with us. Liz also provided complimentary wines (locally sourced) apple juice (also locally sourced) milk, soft drink and bottled water! The master suite was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!
