“Peace and quiet surrounded by fresh country air!”
Very tranquil location and property. Situated amongst the really pretty farming villages, yet still only 10mins drive larger towns. Value for money in terms of room and even with a gorgeous large breakfast in the morning! Very very friendly host too, very welcoming.

The building and the grounds were charming - the perfect location for a relaxed weekend with lots of options for bike rides and then spending the rest of the afternoon in the hammock.

I thought we had booked a hotel in Hardenberg. But at 17:30 I realized I must have made a mistake because there was no confirmation to be found. As we were on a bike trip I looked on booking.com. The best option was De Zilveren Maan. It seemed we landed in a little slice of paradise. The old farm house is nicely renovated. The owner was very welcoming and nice. The room was very cosy and clean. There was a nice restaurant around the corner. We loved the breakfast. Everything was there rolls, bread, spreads, eggs, but also consciously done so that there was no waste. The next morning we saw how beautiful the grounds were. We biked off feeling that we had hit the jackpot.
