“Excellent”

An excellent stay with hospitable and caring hosts. Communication was smooth and easy. In the villa, we found everything we could possibly need — from all the necessary kitchen appliances to laundry detergent.. On the day of our arrival, we were welcomed with dinner. In the middle of the week, hosts came to clean the villa and left us a very delicious cake. The villa is in a great location, with restaurants, shops, and the beach all within walking distance.

The villa is finished to a very high standard and the outdoor seating areas and bbq are brilliant. There is also a view of the sea. The walk to the beach is along a road but very easy. Haris recommended a restaurant in the Port which was very nice and we also ate lunch on the beach at Karavostasi beach twice (the first one as you go down the steps to the beach). We preferred this bay to Livadi but you do have to drive there. We bought very nice meat from the butchers Haris recommended in the port. Rethymon old town is well worth a visit and we also went to Lake Kournas. We had a really relaxing stay and wish it could have been longer. Thank you Haris and family.

Extremely spacious and beautifully decorated. Lots of natural light, a great kitchen with espresso machine and ice machine! As well as an outdoor BBQ. Felt like a home from home :) Harris’ and his Family’s hospitality was exceptional, highly recommend!

We had a wonderful holiday at Villa Gala which totally exceeded all of our expectations. Haris met us at the villa which was a lovely welcome with a delicious home cooked dish all ready for us, and also provided lots of information about places to go locally which was very helpful. We liked his recommendation of eating at Akrogiali so much we went there twice in the same week! All of the facilities at the villa are great, from the swimming pool to the hottub and at night it's a really special place to sit outside. Thank you Haris for everything you did to make our stay so special! We hope to return one day.

“Lovely, spacious villa with a luxurious outdoor area and wonderful host.”

The outdoor area is generous and very comfortable, also for bigger families/groups. Haris was helpful and exceeded our expectations in every way. Loved some details that are not standard in holiday homes such as a fully stocked kitchen including groceries, bathrobes, bathroom products, a homecooked meal upon arrival and detailed clean halfway through our stay. Location is very private with a short walk to the buzzle of Bali, which is set out for tourism.

“unforgettable”

Absolutely everything there is simply nothing at all not to like. All of the reviews are accurate and we had a fabulous stay. This was a girls holiday for us, seven of us I. total for a belated 50th holiday for me and to say we were looked after is an understatement. Haris responds to messages immediately and there nothing he won’t arrange for you. He booked an amazing and luxurious top of the range mini bus for our transfer for a much better price. One of the girls slept on the sofa bed and he provided a mattress topper for that. We needed a large supermarket shop and he got that delivered for us so we didn’t need to go shopping ourselves. The meat was from a good quality butchers too so it was top notch quality. We didn’t arrive at the villa till 1 in the morning and Haris and his delightful parents were all there to welcome us it was so touching. The warmth of the welcome makes you feel like long lost family. As the other reviews say the fridge is stocked with basics for breakfast and an amazing home cooked meal for lunch. Haris has a wealth of knowledge about local trips and restaurants and everything is close by. The villa itself is stunning and as has also been mentioned the pics don’t do it justice. Every little things been thought about and it spotlessly clean. We also received a delicious cake on the day they come to clean. If you leave any of your clothes out as we did by the pool they will be meticulously folded. I could go on and on and on. I will definitely return and am so glad we found this little gem of a place with such wonderful and caring hosts. We miss you all already. Thank you for making it so memorable for us all. xxx

“Beyond belief”

OK, here's a story: This villa isn't actually a villa. It is an experience. On its photos it seems like too good to be true, and when you arrive it turns out it is times better. The interrior atmosphere can only be absorbed first hand - it somehow has the cosiness of a home and at the same time the modern art vibe stands out as well among a semi-traditional layout. There is the relax area with a TV, there is the reading lounge for a morning coffee, there is the dining area, one of the bedrooms has a direct access to the jacuzzi patio, the kitchen has it all, even an ice maker machine, installed filtration system not only for the drinking water, a good and ample selection of wines, the list goes on. The garden is unbelievable with a pool, jacuzzi, hammock, barbecue, swings, 3 separate seating areas, all under a palm tree - all that serves as both romantic and family suitable ambience depending on the visitors' configuration - the crown jewel of the garden are the lights, and you'd think it's pretty perfect already, but then the sun sets and the lights turn on and it becomes cinematic, like, La La Land level cinematic. The location is also perfect - 100 meters from the beach, 100 meters to nearest store, 100 meters to nearest restaurant, 2 minutes away from the highway with a car.

“Best Villa Yet!”

I don't know how I can make this short because there were so many amazing points to the stay. The host and his family were amazing and kind. The property itself was outstanding with the night time lighting just adding an amazing feel to the stay. It is a perfect stay for family and kiddies with a generous size pool, basket ball area which the kids loved and Jacuzzi for the night time relaxing! Over the moon with it and will be booking again!
