The house, pool and view are marvelous! Iannis is taking care of everything for you, particularly a wonderful local breakfast with lots of variation day by day. Access to the main road is easy, allowing you to get efficiently back and forth by car.

We absolutely loved our stay!! There are three villas, we stayed in Kalypso, the middle villa which has a higher pool than the rest. The villa itself is the oldest but so beautiful, the views from inside and out are amazing! You wake up and go asleep to beautiful sunsets and sunrises. It's exceptionally quiet, a little noise from the road but not bad. It has absolutely everything you need and more, beach towels (although we stayed by our pool most of the time), sauna, lovely pool and pool area with table tennis, outdoor shower, and more! The decor has such wonderful touches to make you feel at home, candles, cushions, decor, they really have gone above and beyond to make it a home from home. We had a car, we used it to go to the nearby town of Bali for shopping and to eat out a few times. I think you probably need a car, especially if you want to buy groceries, maybe eat out. We did a few day trips too but mainly enjoyed the pool area and the amazing privacy of the villa. The brilliant Yannis lives near by and comes every morning with the most amazing breakfast tray full of home made goodness!! Alexandros was always only a phone call away and GoGo kept the pace so clean and tidy for us! We had one issue the night of arrival which wasn't very nice, but even in the middle of the night, it was handled so well and all was rectified! The breakfast was great, an amazing chef that cooks with love and has amazing baking skills. The view is beautiful and the sunsets are a dream. The garden and the pool are quiet and we really enjoyed our privacy there.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Okeanides Villas. The villa was equipped with everything that one would need in a house and this aspect made the villa feel very homey. The breakfast had a good selection of foods always with vegetarian options included and for us it was very convenient to have it brought at the villa every morning. Another convenient aspect of the villa was it's location. Being halfway between Heraklion and Rethymnon it offers a good selection of beaches, tavernas or sights to visit if you have a car.

We loved our stay at the Kalypso villa. Everything about it was perfect. The villa was the same as advertised and the view over the sea with Bali in the distance was beautiful. The food from Yannis every morning was amazing and he always tried to make something he thought we would like. We were lucky enough to try lots of his recipes which were all delicious. The villa was spotless when we arrived and was cleaned to a brilliant standard every few days. It was only a short drive to Bali - about 10 mins to the harbour where we went most evenings for dinner.

“Lovely stay for a quiet getaway”

We stayed in Elektra. We loved that this villa was quite private, very spacious, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, sauna room, large pool and terrace. Staff were amazing. Attentive, polite and overall lovely people. The breakfast was lovely. Every morning we were given a fresh breakfast. Hot food was always eggs in some form, omelette, on toast with tomato, fried with bacon and sausage etc. fresh fruit, cheeses and hams. Fresh Greek pastries and cakes. (The homemade orange cake was amazing) there was so much food served at breakfast, that it lasted us till lunch. The views from the property are breathtaking!

Everything was wonderful. We loved the outstanding sea view from the pool and the terrace. The breakfast was delicious. Fresh fruits, omelette, tomatoes, cucumber, olives. homemade cake and more…. As a welcome gift we got wine and raki. The hosts were very friendly and we felt at home from the first day.

The location is absolutely superb. The villas are perched on a mountain overlooking the sea and offer amazing views all around, especially at sunset. The outdoor spaces - terraces, swimming pool and gardens - are very well designed and maintained, ideal for spending time with family or friends. We generally enjoyed great hospitality there (starting with welcome fruit and drinks and ending with a parting gift), but the highlight definitely was feasting every morning on delicious breakfasts freshly made by Yiannis from local ingredients.

The Kalipso house has two terraces with a beautiful view of the sea. Breakfast is served on the outdoor terrace. The house is well equipped. The hosts are very pleasant.
