“Perfection”

Beautiful hotel, we had a fantastic room, sea view with hot tub. Spotlessly clean, quiet and perfect location on the beach, surrounded by all the bars and restaurants you would need. Staff lovely especially the poor maintenance man who we had to call twice to show us how to work the hot tub, then let my husband in the room after he was locked out.

“Comfortable stay at a busy location”

Nostos was a comfortable place for our stay and we enjoyed the proximity to the water. The room was clean and welcoming. Breakfast offered many options.

The hotel is very modern and has a great location. We loved that you can get the beach train to other nearby beaches and shops easily. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We only had breakfast included however the restaurant/bar attached to the hotel has a good variety, we chose to eat here often for lunch and sometimes dinner as the food was so tasty. Even though you have to pay for beach chairs, we chose to pay this most days over the pool as there were lots of spaces and you can get drinks and food from the hotel kitchen. The beach staff were so friendly, Davide was so welcoming and helpful every day. We came at the end of August, it wasn't too busy and we had a very relaxing 9 days.

The hotel itself was clean and well maintained, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. However, we felt misled by the number of extra charges for basic services. For example, it costs €15 per person (even for children) just to access the hotel’s beach area, €6 to use a beach towel, and even an additional fee just to weigh your luggage. A late check-out of just one hour cost €20, and if we needed a few more hours, the hotel asked for €140. We also joined the buffet dinner (€20 per person) only 15 minutes before it ended, without being informed it was closing soon. Staff didn’t warn us, and we were still charged the full price. When we raised these concerns at reception, hoping the hotel might try to improve our experience, the receptionist was defensive, condescending, and even raised her voice at us. She offered no solution and showed no understanding of basic hospitality. Overall, while the facilities were decent, the hidden costs and poor customer service left us very disappointed.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Nostos Boutique Hotel in Crete! The staff were incredibly friendly and always helpful. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, spotless, and very welcoming. The food was a real highlight – fresh, delicious, and of excellent quality. I can highly recommend this hotel and I’m already looking forward to coming back!

The location is pretty good - 1 minute and you are at the beach (plenty of supermarkets nearby). The hotel itself is well decorated, gives away nice vibes. The rooms are good and comfortable.

Very cozy, comfortable and clean. The host was very helpful and friendly. Each single space is beautifully decorated, and we truly enjoyed our time by the pool. The beach restaurant was great, and the food delicious. Highly recommend!

“Lovely stay!”

We loved our stay at Nostos. Great location, right on top of the beach in a small resort town. Room decor was beautiful, and was a good size. Balcony overlooked the pool and sea. 2 swimming pools, both well maintained and beds usually available. Would recommend a stay here for anyone looking for a relaxing break.

A wonderful hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The bar attached to the hotel is great. Drinks and food are superb. We had a great time.
