Its so nice here, staff are friendly. Its a lil out of the way but you can walk or rent a scooter. The island is beautuful to explore by scooter

Breakfast was great and they had lots of options to choose from, Hostel is one of the cheapest on the island and staff were very friendly and really helpful all the time. Its worth the value you pay for, lots of hammocks and a cool terrace.

Friendly and helpful staff. General communal areas were very clean. Comfortable room. Drinkable water from the volcano. Nice places to sit and relax. Good location near restaurants etc. Good general shop about 50m away and stalls with fruit and veg only a few minutes walk. Breakfast was freshly cooked with a choice of 3 options.

Really good breakfast included. Location is great right in the centre of Balgue with restaurant options nearby and close to where you can rent scooters/ATVs. Good value for money.

Great value for money, particularly as the breakfast is also great! Choice from traditional breakfast, scrambled eggs or pancakes, great portion size and cooked fresh. The staff are super friendly. The bikes for rent were in good condition too. The location is good, but you will need a scooter to get around the island.

Hanibal helped me check in. Kind man, and making sure the guests are helped. VEry good information about the ferry, the bus schedule, etc. Good prices for scooter rentals. Breakfast is included, although it wasn't very much for a hike of multiple hours, but it gets you started. Kitchen is available for guests to prepare meals. Water is potable.

Good vibe! Staff are very friendly and helpful, loads of common areas to hang out and has a pool table. Great free breakfast each morning, also offer reasonable scooter rentals and tours. Plenty of showers and toilets. Free water, straight from a local spring, tasted good!

Nice hostel with good location near the lake. Comfortable beds, clean facilities, cool rooftop and tasty breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Big bonus for ability to rent bikes from hostel.

Great vibe, not a party hostel but a more mature one. Good for a relaxed stay in Ometepe.

Triple private room was spacious and beds were comfy with a big fan per person. Staff were friendly and super helpful with arranging taxis and scooter hire. Free breakfast every morning was really good and 3 options. Good location on side of island away from ferry port but close to main sights. Basic kitchen and bathrooms but expected for the island. Would recommend!

Overall the hostel is nice, has a decent kitchen with fridge and freezer and the dorms have an attached bathroom with toilet and shower.

Plenty of space to hang out, really chilled, nice breakfast, good scooters/motorbikes to rent out

“Perfect stay in ometepe”

The place is simple but so lovely. It has a really cool roof terrace to have a Beer or Drink some coffee. The breakfast is really yummy, they let you choose between three different things. The owners are so helpful in every way.

Breakfast was great everyday I was there. We get 3 options, made to order and delicious. Staff was attentive and delivered the plate to the table. Free coffee included. Scooter rentals on site. Great views from the top terrace. Right in town where you can find food options, and fruits and vegetable stands at walking distance. Staff cleaned bathrooms and common areas everyday in the morning.

The staff is very helpful, good location, very nice breakfast and a lot of areas to chill(rooftop, hammocks)
