“Great stay in Balgue”

Lovely hostel, lovely people and areas to relax and hangout. Great vibe and great facilities.

It was clean, bottom beds had fans and also there were fans on the ceiling. There were loads of greenery, places to relax and chill. They have a little restaurant for guests. I did enjoy my stay

“Peaceful stay in Ometepe”

Extremely accommodating and friendly staff, and the property was very clean and beautiful. It's close to the starting point of Maderas Volcano hike - you can do it without a guide too but we booked one from La Urraca Loca, and I really enjoyed our hike. Renting a scooter was really easy with them and everything went well, I also got excellent instructions about the ferry and bus schedules and everything else I needed during my stay. Bonus points also for being able to pay with Revolut with no extra fees!

We had a very enjoyable stay at the hostel. Staff was super friendly and helpful, delicious food and beautiful garden. Since the hostel is surrounded by nature there are quite some insects around but we didnt mind them.

Beautiful hostel in the Balque area, good mix of social and chill, clean, nice areas to chill in the garden and hammocks, lovely local staff, close to everything. Loved the banana bread!

“Nice hostel”

Located very close to the trail for the volcano which made it very easy to do the hike. It is a very beautiful hostel with lots of plants, hammocks and just a really nice vibe as well as a yoga area. Really nice part of Ometepe. Kitchen set up is good and there’s a lot to cook with to prepare your own meals. Showers were nice and at times you could get warm water which was very nice. Bathrooms were very clean.

“Comfortable stay in Balgue!”

The private room is really sweet! It’s quite small but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The coffee and banana bread is really good and the social areas are a nice addition. The location is perfect - close to restaurants and a short scooter away from main activities on the island.

Nice garden and yoga deck. Breakfast was very good and reasonably priced.

You enter a wonderful jungle and floral setting in which multiple houses / rooms are scattered around in the area. This gives such a beautiful atmosphere. The flowers are amazing and you can see hummingbirds during breakfast. The host was really nice and helpful. The breakfast was good, we especially enjoyed the smoothies.

Really lovely place to chill and a beautiful atmosphere. So many different chill areas and an open kitchen. Filtered water. It was really clean. And some of the best food I got in a Hostel. Friendly contact with the staff before arrival, getting all the information how to get there by local bus. Two very friendly dogs I stayed for 4 nights (switched to one of the bamboo huts after two nights) If you stay here I really loved the little hike up to Finca Magdalena and do the coffee Tour

Everything in this place is amazing!!! We got the first floor of a cabin at the beautiful garden. The hostel offers an excellent variety of breakfast, drinks and lunch at affordable prices. Vegan options also available and delicious. Hot water, shared kitchen, very kind staff and convenient location. They accept cash or card or even revolut and wise. You can rent scooter or atv from their partner, they offered tours and so many other.

We loved our stay here, spacious rooms, surrounded by green space with lots of areas to chill in. The breakfast was delicious and all the staff were lovely. Patricia was really helpful and informative, we couldn’t have been much happier with our stay here

We loved the setting, it was so pretty and peaceful. Breakfast was amazing & also the banana bread. Our room was spacious, comfy & clean. Patricia was super helpful - organising taxis and ATV rentals for us. First hot shower in 2 months of traveling!

It all felt very clean and very well taken care of! Super nice and cozy property! Nice to chill in a hammock.
