Amazing property with great staff and beautiful bungalows. Food was also outstanding. You really need to be okay with nature as the bugs are of course everywhere when you are in the jungle.

La Bambouseraie is dreamy! We had the best couple of days here exploring Ometepe - hiking and ATVing around the island. The cabins were beautiful and immersed in nature. The property grounds were excellent, with lots to explore and wildlife everywhere. Overall we had a really lovely time here and would 100% recommend!

This was the highlight of our time on Ometepe and we wish it was not just one night! The view to the volcano over trees humming with butterflies is a sight I will never forget. Absolutely loved it.

if you love being in nature go stay at one of the tree houses. Beautiful scenery, animals and wildlife. It's also a very beautiful drive and nicer part of the island to get to. They have a lovely restaurant on site and can organise guides for you if you need them. one of my favourite places to stay in years.

Pretty place and the breakfast was really tasty! Also, we boked a vulcanoe tour with the place and the lunch was great! The huts are remote and cosy.

“Beautiful place to stay!”

It was just what we wanted! A beautiful lodge up in the canopy, with the sound of birds, geckos and monkeys. Space for a yoga stretch was a bonus!

The location is incredible! You’re in the jungle with so much wildlife around you! The cabins were so cool high up and they had everything you need. Elias, one of the staff was amazing and always chatted to us about our days, what we got up to and any recommendations he had. We hired an atv which they handled for us, everything was just taken care of, could t recommend staying here more! It’s on the side of the island too that everything isn’t too far if you got transport (you need to hire something, a bike, scooter or atv). Also Loki and Lola the German Shepard’s are amazing and super friendly , also the property has pigs and who doesn’t love pigs!

Loved the setting in the tropical fruit farm with the views to lake Nicaragua and the volcano. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Seeing the howler monkeys in the trees right by the restaurant and hearing them.

The location of the cabana is fantastic, nestled in the midst of the wilderness, offering a truly serene and natural escape. However, access can be tricky for scooters, so keep that in mind. The cabana itself is well-equipped, with a comfortable bed, and the views from the restaurant are simply stunning.
