Overview
Featuring a garden and views of garden, El Bamboo Cabins is set in Balgue, 12 km from Maderas Volcano. This beachfront property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. “Fun, unique, beautiful and a true labour of love- perfect as long as you’re comfortable with animals!”
A really beautiful place and to stay- great location, incredible cabin with a view of the lake- you can tell each one is unique and a labour of love! We loved being able to sneak down to the waterfront to paddle or just sit and watch the water birds with a coffee and a book! The fan and the lake breeze take the edge off the heat nicely for sleeping.

The cabin was constructed from sustainable materials. It was really unique and super cute. The space is large and comfortable. It had a view of the lake, and there was a little path you could walk down to the water.

“A beautiful stay immersed in nature”
Che’s cabana is located in a peaceful location near the lake, offering an authentic and rustic experience. The cabin is simple and comfortable, but it is more suitable for travelers who appreciate nature and simplicity rather than luxury. Che is very nice and he helped us a lot with excursions and transportation. Staying there was a wonderful experience

“Magic!”
Che, firstly such a lovely positive host, with great energy & he has 3 gorgeous dogs. His garden, the lake, the ambience, the peace & the most spectacular bamboo huts you'll ever stay in, in your life, all amazing with a full kitchen & table & chairs. I could not wait to come home after being out all day to relax in my hut to feel the magic!! The experience was one I won't forget from my visit to Ometepe!

“Bamboo cabin at the lake”
The bungalow was right on the lake so very nice to fall asleep with the noise of the surf. The owner, Che is very friendly and very helpfull. Great place to stay at.

“Perfect start to our travels in Nicaragua”
Stunning little bamboo house in a perfect location by the lake! Perfect view, surrounded by nature, a perfect get away! Having a kitchen was a huge bonus so you don’t have to go out to eat all the time. Although there are amazing restaurants in the area, Campestre being one off them just on the corner. Che the owner goes above and beyond to help you, very good with communication and advice. Just a lovely person. We booked for 5 nights and extend another 4 nights as it was that good. Highly recommend
