Fantastic stay - the views are beautiful, additional breakfast was tasty, and the room was well designed! This guesthouse strikes the right balance of comfort nestled in nature. Great place to explore Balgue and the rest of Ometepe; you will need a vehicle (we had a scooter!)

Fabulous setting, a beautiful interior with lots of space, a comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen and hot showers (inside and outside). Delicious breakfast served on the patio overlooking a breathtaking view of Concepción volcano.

“Paradise with amazing breakfast”

One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed at. It was even nicer than on the photos. We were surrounded by nature. The garden was huge and full of green and tropical flowers. We could see monkeys from our windows and hear the song of the birds. It was so peaceful and quiet. Amazing views of the volcano. The apartment was also gorgeous, very tasteful design. Good quality linnen and towels. Hot shower. Bathroom products with good smell. Big and comfortable bed. The fans were more than enough to cool the room down. Free filtered water in the kitchen. And the most amazing breakfast you could wish for! Walking distance from restaurants. One of our favorites was Isla Bonita, delicious local food!

I just loved this place, I dont know where to start, the staff are very welcoming and friendly, I arrived there just as the sun was setting and I had been travelling all day to get there. I noticed the cooler breeze in my face and the first thing I saw was Concepción the Volcano and my jaw dropped, the peace and the tranquility was just amazing, surrounded by total nature. It was late so I ordered a bottle of wine and some food from one of the menu´s they left me from a local restaurant and got it delivered. The breakfasts at the lodge are something else, I also booked a massage in my room which was also amazing. The room I had was next to reception I cant remember what number it was, I think No. 1. I had a room with a terrace out to the garden overlooking the volcano, where I had my breakfast. The bed was very comfortable with good quality linen, there were even candles in my room, and hot water was appreciated too. I would not say that this is a complaint but I was on my own and I had not transport so I did not go out in the evenings, only one time to do a sunset kayak tour where they came and picked me up on a motorcycle, you can also book taxi motorcycle´s and mopeds taxis if you ask around. Much cheaper than a taxi and I felt very safe. (I stayed in January).

Beautiful place to stay and lovely view of the mountain. Rooms were comfortable. Bed was comfy. You need a 4x4 to drive up to the please and also go around to the waterfalls.

Lovely condition, clean with beautiful grounds - our room was gorgeous, with everything you needed should you wish to cater for yourself, local restaurants do a delivery food service which worked well for us, breakfast at Ananda was excellent enjoyed whilst taking in the stunning views, staff were all very friendly and Norvel was most helpful with all our requests

Best housing of our trip. Great hosts, don't hesitate to tell them about any doubts you might have about anything on the island. Very nice room, perfectly clean. Great garden with a beautiful view (and we could spot howler monkeys). Very good breakfast. Don't hesitate to rent a scooter (if you already drove any: the path to the hotel can be tricky if you are inexperienced) or an ATV to go around the island. We recommend the sunset at "Comedor Christin", the kayak tour at Playa mangos (more a restaurant than a beach) and a quiet and chill time at Ojo de Agua, all easily accessible from the guesthouse.

“Paradise for five days”

Such a beautiful setting! Stunning views, tropical surroundings, monkeys, parrots and the local cats and dogs!! Great hosts always willing to help, and thd ladies cook an awesome breakfast! Room was spacious with ceiling fan and portable fan. Very comfy king sized bed. Volcano views from the room and backyard. We stayed 5 nights... could have stayed longer. The walk into the village for dinner is only about 15 minutes.

“A breezy jungle get-away in a great homestay with everything you need!”

I wonderful place to land on the island! The staff are particularly amazing - super helpful and get back you by WhatsApp quickly, and with any information you need - even on their day off! The actual house is breezy, clean and the deck is the perfect place to sit and relax with a drink (the beds are comfy and the linen is nice too). The location is on the other side of the island so you would probably need an ATV or scooter - we didn't do this as we had our 5 year old with us - we walked. But they can organise that for you. We loved the books (especially the kids books!), the grounds to run and play with our son, the dogs that hang out and the overall homey feel of place. Having David (sorry if that's spelt wrong!) helping us, made our stay easy, safe, and made us feel at ease. Thank you!

“Simply wonderful!”

Fantastic stay, really lovely property with volcano views. Rooms are stunning, breakfast was excellent. The staff are amazing and go out of their way to make the whole experience superb. Also highly recommend Marvin, a guide for volcano hikes, which was organised through Ananda. Also very close to Cafe Campestre which does the best coffee and lunches on the island!

Excellent attention to detail - wonderful beds, the finishing in the room is excellent (and exceptional for Nicaragua). Garden is gorgeous and there’s a great shared kitchen space for cooking in if you wish to.

Such a beautiful place. The view was incredible. We were blessed to have some monkeys playing on the trees nearby at sunset and early morning. The bed was large and comfortable. Such a serene place to stay after a long hike. Very good shower pressure with hot water. The host left take away menu’s making it super easy to get food as it’s slightly out the way from the Main Street. Also had breakfast on our balcony with volcano views. A taste of luxury in ometepe.

Really cute guesthouse with cosy rooms, lovely staff, delicious breakfast and amazing views of Volcan Concepcion. We loved the pets Alpha, Osa & Ninja. Nolver & David were great and really helpful with all our questions and the kitchen and cleaning staff were lovely as well.
