Very nice roomy rural gîte. As birders we appreciated the black winged kites in the vicinity

I wish there are bug screen on windows.

“Charming, Comfortable and Lovely”

Out of every single window was a beautiful view. Nice and quiet setting. It was great seeing animals at home in nature. Fiona. our host, was most helpful and friendly. We both enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment was spotless, comfortable and pleasantly decorated. Duras is a nice little city close by with a lovely market on Mondays.

This is a gite therefore not B&B so the breakfast question is not relevant.. However Fiona, the owner, left a carton of milk for us which is a nice gesture. The owner is very friendly and approachable. There is a fantastic space outside for dogs etc to play. There is really nothing to say that is not superlative. Fiona asked us if we had experienced any 'odd smells'. We definitely had not. I'm not sure what experience the guest who did comment on them had, but we stayed only a few days later and in the rain (when you would expect any smell to make itself apparent). My partner has asked me to add -the gite is well equipped.

Fiona, landlady, was super friendly and helpful giving us any kind of info we look for. The sunset from the living room big window was unforgettable. The patio was just fabulous to chill for the aperitif with sunset. The room has got almost everything you need with a lot of care. Very much recommended.
