Tastefully decorated, very comfy bed. Breakfast was a lovely addition. Excellent directions and easy check-in.

“THE Best”

Everything was the very best quality and had everything we needed as well as a very pleasant view overlooking the town and out to the lighthouse. Nice to be able to park the car right next to the front door and great to see the huge array of solar panels which means out visiting footprint was less The owner was very kind and very responsive. We will try and stay here next time we are in the area … which is very pretty and worthy of future visits warranting longer time.

The breakfast being a combination of cereal yogurt fruit milk toast and spreads was an unbelievable bonus, there was also option of coffees teas hot chocolate, much appreciated thank you Joss and Glen

I especially liked the cleanliness of the suite. It was very complete, had nice artwork, and the view towards the lighthouse was lovely. Would stay again.

“Incredibly cosy”

Whole stay was perfect. Joss and her husband went out of their way to ensure they were home to greet us. The room was perfect, so cosy and warm and the breakfast was lovely - didn’t have to think about a thing. After a day spent in the rain and driving up from Milford Sound, this stay was exactly what we needed.

Staying at this property was real treat. So completely well equipped right down to new toothbrushes should you have forgotten yours and food supplied was just great. The view from the private deck looking out over Balclutha was a bonus off street parking made being there easy and convenient. All the fittings and fixtures top of the line would highly recommend staying during your travels of the south island. Thanks for having us . Lou and Howard

What a fantastic wee place, it was clean, cozy and had a beautiful wee breakfast set up. Bed was super comfy and the unit was private. Loved everything about it.
