The hotel is located in a beautiful old building on Tagore Promenade, in the most picturesque part of Balatonfüred, and has been beautifully renovated inside. Everything was perfect; the staff did their jobs professionally and discreetly. They knew that the most important thing was for guests to get their money’s worth. Breakfast on the sunlit terrace was almost too picturesque an experience. I’ve had similar experiences at hotels abroad from time to time, but never anywhere in Hungary. Congratulations to every member of the team!

Breakfast and dinner is good. The Hungarian staff is very polite. Hotel base has good upkeep. Parking - if in off season they will let you use more parking spots if you have large car. Also make it clear for the guests if parking is paid or not paid. On my first visit it was free, on my second visit I paid half of my days.

“Beautiful setting by the lake, very attentive staff and perfect few days away”

Excellent, attentive staff in all areas, ready to help and give recommendations. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Spa facilities and pools were very relaxing. I had half board food and everything was of a high standard. The building is beautiful and in a very central location close to the lake. The Anna Cafe within the hotel served beautiful cakes.

Breakfast was great - a variety of the food, delicious. Room very clean and cosy. Spa is not big, but most importantly clean. Two pools - one thermal bath with warm water and one with colder water. Finnish sauna, and two red light saunas. Towels provided at the pool. All staff are veey polite and helpful. Hope to come back again.

I loved everything about the hotel. The only thing that slightly annoyed me were some of the guests. One lady was extremely bothered by my kids laughing. From her looks, my kids were not the first ones to bother her.... If she hates seeing happy kids, next time maybe she could select an adults only hotel. 🤔

Venue Calm Restaurant Spa and wellness Cleanliness

Really clean and comfortable rooms with friendly and professional staff. We loved the food and the view from the restaurant window on the snowy and cold evening when we were there.

Excellent location, professional staff. Spotless room, environment. We travelled with car private,safe parking was provided. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant.The food was tasty,nicely displayed. Breakfast included with the hotel stay,I have to say the best buffet selection ever experienced..

The hotel was in a stunning location with just a short stroll to Lake Balaton (including cafes, restaurants, ferry, etc.). The room was spacious and very clean and the hotel's staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a highlight, as was the hotel's cafe/terrace for drinks in the evening.

“Winter break”

The hotel is very nice and the staff is welcoming and helpful. The wellness is good, there are plenty of saunas, one swimming pool and a pool with jacuzzi jets. I believe it gets significantly busier on weekends, but since we were there during the week, it felt like we had almost the whole place to ourselves since it really wasn't crowded. The breakfast is good, there's something for everyone. It's useful that you can park in their garage, which costs 15 EUR/night. Since we were there during the winter, we don't have any experience with access to the beaches on Balaton, but the lake is indeed right across the street from the hotel. The location is good, as you can also find nice restaurants and cafes within walking distance.

“Lovely stay”

Staff was 10/10. I loved the valet parking, the welcome champagne drinks, and the lovely atmosphere in a perfect location. The wellness area is also 10/10. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay in the heart of Balatonfüred.

Really a grand hotel. A good mix of modern and historical. Staffs are helpful and willing to provide information and help. The dinner is great!!! Very kind people, delicious food, good wine, and nice view. Just 3 mins walk to the lakeside, relaxing.
