Stunning view of sea crashing on the rocks below, and the sandy cove. Fantastic suite - large bedroom tastefully done with amazing balcony overlooking the sea below AND a big sitting dining room all to ourselves!

Huge rooms over three floors with wonderful views from the upper floor which is the bedroom. Comfortable beds with nice bedding and good towels. Very nice pool as the sea was too rough to swim. Beautiful beach. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was very tasty but portions on the small side.

Our stay at Bay Villas was exceptional! The staff were so welcoming, we arrived early hours of the morning and they brought us juice and sandwiches. The food (breakfast and dinner) was incredible and it was lovely to be able to taste local Sri Lankan cuisine. The photos do not do this place enough justice, it is so beautiful with its own beach area and plenty of outdoors space. The inside decor is lovely and all from Sri Lankan artisans, you also get a whole apartment area for yourself with a private dinning room and porch for breakfast. I could not recommend this place enough!!!

The location of the property is superb, right on the beach, with expensive views and the constant sound of the sea. We especially loved the space - a large, private living space on two levels, with beautiful views. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and the meals served on our patio were delicious. Altogether, a perfect stay.

This was a fantastic getaway and wished the stay was longer. The place was beautifully decorated to give a luxurious feel, with traditional Sri Lankan pieces and art. The staff was super friends and oh my god the food they prepared was just amazing. A traditional Sri Lankan breakfast is recommended.

Absolutely worth the journey from airport. The staff were exceptional, catering to my every needs and even arranged transport into the local village for shopping. The food was absolutely exceptional. Delicious and the cook even prepared whatever I desired for meals. I would not hesitate to recommend this place, also close to most tourist activities and places to visit.

We stayed 3 days. Our villa was spacious, well decorated with a sensational view of the sea. All the staff were so helpful and welcoming. If you want a great introduction to Sri Lankan food then this is the place to stay. Each breakfast and dinner offered a taste of a variety of specialties. We felt like privileged guests.

“Wonderful Stay in a Hidden Paradise”

We spent a full week at this hotel, and surprisingly, we were the only guests during our dates – it felt like a private retreat. Our family received full attention, and the experience was warm and memorable. The children’s room had the best ocean view, twin beds, and excellent air conditioning. I especially enjoyed sitting on their balcony – the view was simply stunning. Our main room, located in the center of the building, was the most spacious. In the evenings, we loved gathering in the living room on the ground floor to play games together as a family. The ocean and surrounding views are breathtaking. Food was varied and delicious each day, and we especially appreciated the breakfast – fresh fruit and pancakes in all sorts of delightful versions. Special thanks to Mr. Shirley, who kindly took us on a river safari and to the turtle farm. The staff deserves a separate mention – extremely kind and attentive. A special thank-you goes to Aruna, who literally saved us during a beach walk when two large monitor lizards suddenly ran toward us – it was a very frightening moment for the kids and me. The only downside that truly affected my peace of mind was the presence of these large monitor lizards roaming freely on the property. Their size made it hard for me to fully relax outdoors. Overall, a unique, beautiful, and heartfelt experience – with just one wild twist.

“Awesome stay at Bay Villas”

Just had 6 nights at the Bay Villas, location is fantastic and rooms well appointed but what makes it even more special are the people who work there.

These 3 villas are right on a very quiet beach and private from each other, perfect for a few days relaxation. Breakfast and dinner are included but there is no menu choice however the staff do their best to accomodate you. The only downside is there are no tea/coffee making facilities or a fridge in the rooms even though the villas are large and there is plenty of room. There is a communal fridge but this is not always convenient. We were there for 5 days and I had my own herbal tea for which I needed hot water regularly, the owner did agree to give me a jug. The staff are amazing it’s the owner who doesn’t want to provide these additions. The local town is 3km away so it’s a tuttut ride if you want lunch or any shops.

“Paradise!”

Everything! We booked this accomodation several months ago before arrival, during this time some not positive reviews appeared so we were a bit afraid what to expect. But there was no space for worries - everything was just perfect. The villa was spacious, clean, with beautiful views. It looked totally the same as on pictures here. Yeah, it would need a bit maintance, but its not new accomodation, so its totally understandable. The views were breathtaking and ocean was great (with waves). And what was really amazing - it was the staff. They were so nice and attentive. And one more thing - food - that was heaven in mouth! We had here the best Sri Lankan food and it was really great experience for us. We really enjoyed our last days in Sri lanka here ND if we come back to SL, we will definitely stay here again. So if you search for calm and clean place with beautiful views, just next to the empty beach, with absolute privacy and really tasty food, This is the place.

“Stunning rooms to match the views”

Bay villas was the last stop on our three weeks holiday to relax before we leave this beautiful island and it didn't disappointe us. the manager and other stuff were very kind and they went out of thier way to make us feel at home. the breakfast and dinner was fantastic and of course the views toward the ocean... almost private beach and good size pool. The bedroom and lunch are large and nicely decorated. We rented a tuk tuk and visited other beaches, Galle is only 45 minutes away from this villa... The lady who does massage at the property also was great. totally recommended. Thanks everyone for making our four last days in Srilanka memorable. Zara and Bruce

“Beautiful place to stay with excellent care.”

Fabulous place with almost private beach. Very clean and quiet place, you can relax without any distortions. The hospitality of staff is exceptional, serving you to fulfill all your needs. All breakfasts and dinners we took were delicious and perfectly tasty. This was one of tops of this stay.
