Overview
Hotel Santuari is located in the Catalan town of Balaguer, some 20 km from Lleida. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free internet access, as well as wonderful countryside views. All of the simple rooms have TV, telephone and heating, as well as modern, private bathrooms with showers. All floors can be accessed by lift. Santuari Hotel has an attractive lounge with panoramic windows offering wonderful views. There is also a chapel. The Santuari’s restaurant offers traditional Catalan dishes using fresh, local ingredients. The dining room offers views of Balaguer. The Santuari sits on a hilltop, surrounded by the Moorish Formós Castle, as well as the Pla d'Almatà archaeological site. Popular activities in the area include birdwatching.

“Perfect stop over location.”
Stunning views, staff super friendly and helpful, rooms very clean, beds comfy, food in restaurant was stunning, motorbikes parked outside and very safe. The location suited us, I did not want to be in town, I wanted aircon, quiet, food a few beers and bed. It was perfect.

“A strange hotel in some ways but if the restaurant was open I think it is a good place to stay”
The hotel was in a good location and being quite new was a nice place to be and very comfortable. Short walk into town for restaurants/bars Guy at reception was welcoming, friendly and helpful

“Spacious, comfortable and convenient”
Tucked away on a hill on the edge of town but right by the old cathedral and other religious history, with an easy walk down to the river and into the old town, this nearly modern hotel is spacious, clean and friendly.

Super quiet location just on the edge of town, being high up with fabulous views. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. There was plenty of parking for our motorcycles. As it wasn't the weekend, the breakfast was a la carte rather than a buffet, which we enjoyed on the terrace. Lunch in the restaurant was delicious. We spent 2 nights here and enjoyed our day exploring the town and river walks.

“Great reviews, completely justified”
The reviews brought me to this hotel and town and it still exceeded expectations. Beautiful and clean, magnificent views, friendly welcome, good parking for motorcycle. We ate in the restaurant which was delicious with a really good atmosphere.

“Nice and comfortable. We would definitely stay again”
The location was nice and quiet with plenty of outdoor parking area. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the shower excellent. Airconditioning worked well and we had a beautiful view across the town to the mountains. Breakfast was OK for the price. A little basic but sufficient. The hotel is on the hill just outside the township. This made it quiet and we drove into town.

A real surprise, fabulous room, lovely staff and air conditioning to die for on hot night. Easy walk down town which was also a real surprise, full of life night and morning and great food in town main square

Very nice hotel, exceptionally clean. The location looks out over the whole town giving a great view. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this Hotel.
