“You'll recognise it by a palm tree”

You'll live in the heart of the Old Town, only 7 minutes walking from the metro station and two metro stops from a bus station where a shuttle bus from the airport stops. Even though winter is not the best time to come to Baku since there is no central heating and the wind makes it colder, I had the warmest time there. The owner, Farid, warmly welcomes you, will tell you everything you need to know about getting to the city from the airport, and is ready to show you around and tell you many things about Baku that only locals know. My room and bathroom had heaters, and my blanket was perfectly warm to save me during snowy and windy nights in Baku. I enjoyed my time there and hope to return once it gets warm!

It's excellent value for money and Farid is an very kind and friendly host. He is also very helpful and quick to forgive guests' frustrations. He helped me lift a heavy trunk down to the main road out of the Old Town when I checked out. Comfortable bed, nice shared bathroom and kitchen, excellent location.

Spectacular place if you consider the relation between price and quality. The owner is a great person who wants to help you if you ask him. The place has all you need (hot water, good wifi, a kitchen) and is located in the middle of the old town a short walk away from the metro station.

It was a great accommodation. We had a lot of music for not a lot of money. The location is fabulous, in the historic center and also close to the metro. The air conditioning worked and that was very important on hot days.

Super old city with its fun mazes and small streets that Google maps does not capture. A few of the best restaurants with the walls. The price value makes it a super deal. Host is very helpful when around. Free laundry, relaxed home.

The hostel literally inside the walled old city in the middle part. Cars can enter but with parking fee, not use for taxi, but for sure you have to carry on your luggage to Hostel. The owner is very friendly. Hostel itself is very good location. Not crowded that makes it better.Recommended place in Baku City.

Everything was great. Location in the UNESCO city center in a cute house. The owner is super friendly, helpful. You can use kitchen amenities. Bathroom is big. The room is spacious, bed really comfortable. It's really clean. Just perfect.

First of all, big value for a money, second- host was really great, helped with advice etc, third- location in heart of Old City, meanwhile very quiet and calm, can take a rest, sit and have a glass of wine or cognac.

“Magical house”

This place is warm Azeri hug, not just a guesthouse. It's a real traditional house in the heart of Old Baku, so full of charm and character. Most welcoming and generous host, he really looks after his guests in true amazing Azeri hospitality. Quiet, peaceful, away from any sort of noise and yet 5 minutes walk to the subway station. Very clean, great shower, comfy bed and it's not a dorm, the owner made it into individual single bed pods with wooden walls and even individual doors, bedside tables and lamps.

We really enjoyed our days in Baku and our host helped us understanding better Azerbaijan. Moreover, thanks to him, we discovered the pomegranate wine, very tasty! The guesthouse is in the middle of the Old City, near a metro station and at walking distance from other attractions. But it’s easy to get lost at the arrival, so the first time, I suggest you to meet the host in front of a gate, to be accompanied to the accommodation.

Friendly owner, he's pretty much always at the property. Can give you some helpful advice as well if you need it. Very central location in the old town. AC in rooms was good. Only two guest rooms. Bathroom was good. Felt very secure at the property
