The host Oktay was very responsive over text, and kindly picked me up from the airport when I arrived around 8pm (for a small fee). He was very accommodating and made sure I had a comfortable stay, even offering to help purchase/prepare breakfast for me in the morning. The room was extremely spacious, basically a whole house. Facilities were clean. Wifi was good.

“Guest house with a garden”

Quiet and comfortable place to stay in Baku. It's close to a street with grocery stores and restaurants. There's plenty of parking, including a private space enclosed by a gate. Oqtay, the host, is very responsive via WhatsApp. I used it as a base to be close to the airport. Good place to stay!

“Extremely affordable and friendly accommodation in Baku!”

My host, Oqtay, was extremely helpful. Without his prompt assistance, I would have struggled to get from the airport to the “Guesthouse near Baku Airport”. This is because taxi services such as Bolt are prohibited from operating at Heydar Aliyev International Airport. The state-subsidised taxis, manufactured by the London Electric Vehicle Company in Coventry (West Midlands) – which not only look like London’s ‘Black Cabs’ but are actually the same, except that they are red – offer transfers from the airport to the city for a hefty price, and thus have no competition to fear. For a budget-conscious tourist stranded at the airport, however, the monopoly held by the London clone is a significant drawback. Fortunately, Oqtay was immediately available by phone and picked me up just a few minutes after my call. He was also always on hand to offer advice and assistance, without being intrusive. For example he offered me a guided tour of Baku’s Old Town, but immediately respected my wish to explore the city on my own, though not without giving me a few tips for the little tour. When I was looking for a decent restaurant in the evening after returning from the old town, he immediately drove me to the nearest insider tip, which I would never have found without his local knowledge. When I left, he took me to the airport in the middle of the night. For all his invaluable services, he asked for very little money and even exchanged my leftover manats (Azerbaijani currency) for euros at a very fair rate. There’s hardly a better option if you want to get from the airport to your accommodation quickly and back again, unless you can afford the four-star ‘Flyin Baku’ hotel right at the airport. I’d happily come back anytime!!!

Amazing host

I requested the owner to pick me up from the airport. Unfortunately, I could not get my visa on time, and the owner waited for me outside the airport. When I explained the visa issue, he was very understanding, returned without any complaint, and did not charge me at all. I really appreciated his honesty and kindness. On my next visit, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

The best feeling about the property was the environment like gardens and fresh air. And peace was hitting on another level and the boss there was very kind and polite treated us like his own children felt overwhelmed while leaving that place 🥹❤️

Oktay is an outstanding host in every respect. He picked me up from the airport and made me feel like at home during my short stay. A very flexible with the check - out, so his home is an ideal place if you are connecting long flights at the Baku airport. The best option where to stay next to the airport. To be honest, it would have been very pleasant to stay longer! The house has a quiet garden, our private apartment was big, clean and with every facilities. The host was super nice and drove us to the airport too!

Amazing, extremely welcoming and helpful host! Very responsive and helpful, communication was easy, and we asked about other things not even connected to the rent. Great thanks for meeting at the airport at mid of the night, bringing to 24h shop, and then to the flat. Location is great if you need a place near the airport. Feeling as at grandma's) Not modern luxury, but very spacious, with garden and outside table. It was such a pleasure to sleep there after the city noises in silence, and to wake up and hear the birds. For the price it was just great! Thank you so much! This experience will stay in the heart, and it made the whole Baku experience much better! Best wishes
