Beautiful villa in a great location, it's a peaceful and restful setting. The room has everything you need - clean, spacious with quiet ac, great beds, lovely hot shower with complimentary gel and shampoo. A wonderful view towards the sea from the balcony. Johnny is such a warm and gregarious host. The breakfast was exceptional, probably the best we had in Albania and he's a great barista! We were only passing through but would have definitely stayed longer if we could :-)

Jonny and his family are amazing hosts! They will make you feel like royalty and family at the same time.

Hereafter a short review we have wrote and post on some social networks groups for frenchs who are looking for some good adress to stay and eat in albania. we wish you the best for future. VILA HORIZONT @ BAKS-ROLS - Shkoder Region. Everything was absolutely perfect and beyond… We only spent one night, had dinner and breakfast there, but at the end of our stay in Albania, after having visited most of the cities, this experience with Johnny and his family will remain engraved as one of the best memories of Albania. A warm welcome filled with kindness and the desire to treat guests like their own family. It’s indescribable… These are moments to be lived and felt, not easily explained! A family-run place with a few rooms… A restaurant offering simple and authentic cuisine with fresh seafood and vegetables, fruits, eggs, butter, honey, etc., all from their own production. Everything is organic, and you can feel it on the plate. Bravo! I was disappointed by some aspects of Albania in certain places, but this place is a perfect example for all Albanians who want to succeed in the hotel and restaurant business… Simplicity and authenticity… No tricks, and with respect for the natural environment. Johnny and his family have understood it all. I congratulate and encourage them to continue in this direction. If we come back to Albania, this is one of the two places we will definitely return to — and for more than just one night. .

What an amazing place! We are so happy we chose Vila Horizont for our stay. Amazing view and great nature around. If you are looking for a quiet place to have some relaxing days close to a not crowded beach, than this is the place for you. The owner and staff are so friendly and welcoming. The owner speaks great English and is so so helpful. And the food is very tasty and so fresh. Probably the best seafood we had in Albania so far. We are looking forward to visit this amazing place in the future!

Our family of six—my partner, our two kids, and my parents—had an amazing three-night stay at this charming family-run hotel in Albania. Located on a beautiful property with breathtaking views of the sea shimmering on the horizon, the hotel felt like a peaceful retreat. Johnny and his family welcomed us warmly and made us feel like part of their own family from the moment we arrived. The eco-friendly atmosphere was wonderful, with fresh produce, fish, milk, eggs, cheese, and homemade jams served at every meal. We stayed in two rooms, each with a large double bed, a single bed, and a balcony—one room even had two balconies! The rooms were spotless, very comfortable, and included a generously sized mini fridge. On-site parking made our arrival and departure easy. Johnny recommended a nearby beach resort just a five-minute drive away, which was perfect for relaxing daytime visits. Our mornings began with the cheerful clucking of chickens announcing fresh eggs, followed by delicious breakfasts. Evenings were spent enjoying mouthwatering dinners while surrounded by the soothing sounds of cicadas and cows. Johnny’s father even runs an ice cream stand selling homemade ice cream made from their fresh milk! We loved every moment with Johnny’s family, and everyone in our group agreed it was the highlight of our trip. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Albania.

Comfortable, neat and clean accommodation. Friendly and helpful host. Great food in the restaurant at a fair price. If we ever come to this area again, we will stay here again.

We had a really great stay at Vila Horizont. We had two rooms that both had great views out over the lagoon. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and looked after us very well. We had dinner in their restaurant on two nights and have excellent fish caught that morning. Would recommend to all.

Super friendly owner who waited for our arrival late in the evening. Room was very clean and big. Shower was great, and we loved the balcony (part of the room). Breakfast was amazing!

We had an amazing time at the beautiful Vila Horizont! The room was very comfortable, the view from the 2 balconies amazing, the landscape around the house (including the beaches) very beautiful and most important Johnny and his family were wonderful hosts. We had breakfast and dinner every day and it was great each time! Thank you so much, we would love to come back some day!

For sure this is the place to be whenever you want some peace and quiet time. The acomodation is the best i have been so far. Johnny , the host, is THE BEST! Delicious organic fresh cooked food, only with local ingredients. Thank you for this amazing vacation, and for sure we will come back next year. Cheers!!!

Everything was perfect Johnny and everyone was very nice. Johnny is the nicest person i ever met he was very kind to us and helped with anything we asked about. The food that Johnny made for us was very good.
