Breede Bush Camp is a true hidden gem. We had such a wonderful stay — the accommodation was comfortable, thoughtfully set up, and had everything we needed (and more). The location right on the edge of the Breede River is absolutely stunning, and waking up to the sounds of birdlife instead of an alarm clock was a real treat. Having no cell signal was actually a blessing, giving us the chance to properly switch off and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Margherite was a fantastic host — warm, welcoming, and so thoughtful. The freshly baked rusks waiting for us were such a lovely touch. Thank you for a special stay — we will definitely be back!

Amazing location on the Breede River with a private camp far from anybody. Great lapa and kitchen area with all the amenities you need to turn your camp into a glamp and host many friends in this beautiful surroundings. We played volleyball, swam and kayaked in the river with late night braais and early morning birding

The camp is right beside the river. It is completely private. There are canoes and kayaks and safety vests for fun on the river. The main house has all facilities, including a fully furnished kitchen, two toilets, a shower, three single beds, a dining room table and lounge area, as well as a fire place. A nice touch is information about the 2008 flood and a book with cut outs and copies of stories from the area. There is a fire pit outside and two tents (sleeping two more people each) on stilts overlooking the river. There are lots of birds and small mammals that make this stay fascinating both during the day and at night. This is a perfect stay for families/groups looking for a private getaway in a more natural setting.

Camping experience with everything that makes it easy. Well fitted kitchen withe every utensil needed, lounge to use when cold, bathrooms, well fitted glamping tents with good quality beds and bedding, beautiful indigenous trees, excellent bird watching, wonferful river beach with safe swimming. The best place for a family get together.

The location on the river is spectacular. The accommodation was well equipped and we did not want for anything. The host was extremely friendly and accomadating. Got the best lamb I ever tasted from the farm. Facilities are well laid out and private. Super safe and no keys, what a wonderful feeling

A lovely location, neat and tidy. Perfect for a weekend on the river. Really liked having the bush camp to ourselves. Very private. Saw lots of different bird species! Breede River was lovely and warm in Feb.
