Lovely and serene spot just outside of Bakio. Very green and calm, country house feeling with all the amenities you could need. Room was great, staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is 5 min drive from Bakio which had a fantastic sand beach.

Spacious, comfortable, relaxing, friendly staff and a beautiful and very quiet location. YES - breakfast is available even though there aren't really any details on the site, and it is really excellent, as other reviewers have noted. The kitchen is well set up, with induction hob, microwave oven and dishwasher. We were on a cycling holiday, but we had a day of walking when we stayed. We walked to the edge of Bakio, then along the GR123 to the carpark where the walk to Gastelugatxe starts. It is a 10km loop with quite a lot of ascent, but well worth doing. The walk to the centre of Bakio is about 2km. It is hilly and there is short section on the road, but it is easy enough. It would be quicker to cycle, but there is a short steep section!

It is a really quiet place, but if you have a car, then it is a short drive to the nearby towns and Gaztelugatxe monastery. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The apartments are comfortable and clean, beds are good, everything works, kitchen is reasonably equipped, no complaints.
