Very nice apartment. Good beds, spacious, modern kitchen, 2 balconies and the atlantic ocean right at your doorstep. Good contact with Josu, the friendly owner. Car in free parking garage underneath. And a nice bottle of wine as a welcome present. Bakio has a good vibe and many nice restaurants. Everything was perfect.

Such a lovely apartment - brilliantly located with views from every window and very comfortably furnished. Lots of thought had gone into the equipment particularly in the kitchen and we enjoyed the kind gifts left for us. Josu gave us lots of recommendations of places to visit and eat, and was very helpful. My teenage girls said it was the best place we had ever stayed - high praise indeed! Being in easy reach of Bilbao was also a bonus - we had a lovely day there exploring.

It was a joy to wake up to such a beautiful scene every day. - Josu, our host, was very kind and welcoming. He thoughtfully offered early check-in and late check-out, which, although we couldn’t use due to our flight schedule, was a very nice gesture. - The location was perfect for a relaxing seaside escape, providing a peaceful and serene environment.

“Perfect beach stay with kids”

We liked everything. Seriously. The location is amazing, there is no place closer to the beach than this one. You can hear the waves crashing on the beach and welcome the sunrise with surfers. We received a lot of useful information prior to the arrival so we already felt like we are coming to a familiar place. If we return to Basque Country, it will be a pleasure to stay at this apartment again.

super location - directly over the centre of the beach - amazing vistas, sunset, sunrise are spectacular. apartment is fitted out very nicely. smart TV was great for the kids. excellent bars and restaurants immediately close to property (walking distance) Host is really great too. gave loads of good advice on locality. greeted us with gifts local wine and Sidre 👌🏼
