Beautiful location with really nice garden and patio. The host was very welcoming; there is a coffee machine and garden furniture in the yard. Really quiet in the night.

A quiet, pleasant room on the bank of the Cerna river. Well equipped clean room. Everything was as in the pictures. What was not in the pictures: an extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming owner. Thank you for everything!

“Most tranquil location”

We loved spending one night in this wonderful tranquil property. The rooms were a very good size and very clean, as well as cool (despite the summer heat). The little garden area by the river is just a dream with its seating area and hammock! We could hear the lovely sound of the river and crickets at night which made the stay even more relaxing.

The location is perfect, at the shore of the Cerna river. The place is very quiet, with a great view. The room, the house and the backyard are very simple in style, which makes the accommodation the perfect spot for being relaxed. No loud neighbors around. The hosts, Ionel and Madalina are amazing people, great hosts and very friendly. I will love to come back again. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed, it really felt like we were visiting our family.

“Beautiful place to relax”

Amazing place, quiet location but walking distance to the center.. Clean room, confy bed, large bathroom. The host is very kind and offered us coffee, tea and still water. Right în front its Cerna river its simple great to have a coffee and relax next to the river.

The location was beautiful. The apartment was very clean and we woke up to the sound of the river. Also the host was very helpful and friendly, he even let us try some of his wine. We definitely recommend staying here.

“Little piece of Eden”

The rooms were tastefully renovated, large modern showers snd such. The best part was the patio, going out to the cleanest stream, with plenty of places to sit. The hosts were very nice and kind

We had a great stay at the Rio. The host was very welcoming and friendly, and the apartment is newly furbished, clean and tidy. There is a coffee maker on the balcony you can use. What really sells this place is the garden which extends to the Cerna river - an unbelievably cool place to spend a summer afternoon. Note however that it is not near to the center of Baile Herculane and that there are not many facilities or attractions nearby, it is a peaceful place you can use as a base to explore the surroundings.

“Great place to have a relaxing holiday”

I liked the inner courtyard where you can just sit in the hammock and listen to the river. The hosts were very friendly and polite. The room was extremely clean and comfortable.

“Cozy stay in a beautiful location”

The place is newly furbished, the location is intimate and very beautiful (Cerna river crossing the courtyard). It is a bit far from the center, but we had the car for longer trips.

Great host, and great value for money. We liked being close to a river, the attention to details of everything. Toto, the host's dog, was friendly and lovely.
