A very helpful owner, communicative, introduced us to the town of Empress Sisi and sensational local sulphur baths. I highly recommend it!

Super friendly host (who not only spoke Romanian but also Dutch as she lived in Belgium), rooms were very clean and nice, common terrace with plenty of tables and chairs, common kitchen (to make coffee, eggs, ...), no airco but the temperature in our rooms (all 3 with a terrace) was quite cool, parking in the street right in front of the pension, great beds.

My partner and I spent a few wonderful days at Vila Geany and we absolutely loved it. The room was big, very clean, the beds were really comfy and the tarrase/ balcony had an amazing view of the mountains and the river. The neighbourhood was quite, safe and close to the old town, hiking trails and any other place one would like to visit while in Herculane. Doamna Lili was a great host, very attentive, hospitable and gave us some great advice on where to eat, bathe and trails nearby. We highly recommend this guest house and its lovely owners. Thank you again for everything!

“Amazing value for money”

Very clean, host is very kind.

There was a shared kitchen equipped with everything,the host offers free coffee or tea at breakfast,there was also a nice terrace adjacent to the kitchen with a nice view to the Cerna river,all in all a very good experience,recommend it if you travel to Baile Herculane.one more thing there are restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance from the villa.

“Excellent stay for your trip to Herculane”

Everything is clean and neat, you have a common large terrace with a view of the river, excellent to have your morning coffee or just enjoy the sound of nature. Some good restaurants are very close by, and the city center is just at a 10 minutes walk away. The owners are very kind and they even helped me jump-start my car battery when we left the property, on the second day. All in all, I would highly recommend this place.

Very close to center-Herculane, with all its historic buildings and sites; close to mineral water sources of various kinds: plain drinking mineral water, water for stomach, water for the eyes etc.

“Hospitable to me and my dog”

Comfortable spacious room. Very kind and thoughtful to me and my dog, including looking after him when I went for a walk in the woods, so that he would be safe from adders and stray dogs. They were so kind to pick me up from the station at no extra charge. I enjoyed speaking in our common non native language of French and getting a lot of tips about the area. Several languages are spoken. This is a beautiful and unusual area and I regret not being able to hike up to the top of the limestone cliffs. The geothermal waters are well worth dipping in, and there are places to do so for free.
