“Live in botanical garden with stunnig view!”

The owners are very kind, polite, helpful, and warm-hearted. They were happy to help with everything, show us around, and advise us on what is best to see on the island. They helped us carry our luggage up and down. They also accommodated a late departure so we could shower calmly before our flight. You can’t see it in the photos, but the view from the apartment is unbelievably beautiful. We have never experienced anything like this at any other accommodation in the Seychelles. They even have the best water pressure, towels, and a hairdryer. Everything was clean and perfectly equipped. We received a welcome drink and drinking water in the apartment. They have a stunning garden — it feels like staying overnight in a botanical garden. They even have an adorable bat as a pet, which is genuinely curious and very gentle with people. Thank you very much, and we would be happy to return again.

“A place we will remember forever”

All we can say is WOW! This was without a doubt the most unique stay we’ve ever experienced. Just look at this stunning pink house — I felt like a princess in my very own Disney castle! The views from the terrace are absolutely breathtaking, with sunsets that are simply unforgettable. The surrounding garden is beautiful and so well cared for. The room itself is lovely, full of charm, and spotlessly clean. Jojo the flying fox and his friends made the experience even more special and magical. Although we didn’t have the chance to meet the owner, Michael, we were warmly welcomed by his staff — a lovely young man whose name we unfortunately can’t remember. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive in every possible way. Truly one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet! He went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable, even treating us to fresh coconuts and pineapples every morning. One detail we will never forget is the towel art. Every time we returned home, we were greeted by new, adorable towel animals waiting for us. Such a charming and thoughtful touch! Each day at the beach, we found ourselves guessing which new animal would be waiting for us back home — it became a little tradition, haha. In many ways, this place is far more special and full of character than any five-star resort. We miss our mornings on the terrace. We miss everything about this magical place. We would return in a heartbeat. Bonus: The location is excellent — close to our favorite beaches Anse Soleil, Petite Anse, and Baie Lazare (about a 10–15 minute walk away). There are also two food stores within walking distance. While a car isn’t strictly necessary, we do recommend one if you’d like to fully explore the island.

The house is located in a middles of the forest with the amazing view over the bay. The owner is very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Room was cleaned daily and all the equipment was working well. I would recommend that accommodation very much.

We had a wonderful time in the Guesthouse, Michael eas really friendly and the whole place is beautifuly maintaned and taken care of. Totally recommended.

Best guesthouse we ever stayed in. The location can’t be more perfect. The house is just as described; the views from the balcony are amazing. Michael and his family were great hosts and they work all day long to maintain the beautiful private botanical garden at the foot of the guesthouse. So yeah, basically you walk through an amazing garden to get to your apartment with a great view of the ocean and the island. All utilities are as described and the apartment is well kept. For those who are afraid to test their driving skills, ask Michael to show you where to park your car by the church (about 100 m from the house). He can also arrange help with the luggage if you need/want. Next time in Mahe, we’ll definitely stay here again.

we stayed at Les Elles in Oct 2022 for about a week. the owner Michel was hospitable and always ready to help. the view from the room is spectacular! having a breakfast at the balcony with such a view is stunning. the apartment itself is spacious, clean, the kitchen has everything you need for a cooking. we spent a good time there. but choosing Les Elles you have to consider 3 things: 1. you definitely need a car to stay there. one climb uphill by walk and you're done. also keep in mind there is another steep pathway from the parking place to the house, about 50 meters to the top. it may be hard for an elder people. 2. car road to the house is very narrow and steep. you have to be an experienced driver to get there. if you're a beginner or used to drive a giant SUV on a wide motorway it may be difficult to drive to the house. just be aware. 3. the internet connection is slow (just 7 Mb/s download and less than 1 Mb/s upload). it's ok for calls and surfing but if you are going to work from there it may be a problem. but the view from the balcony is worth it!

“Amazing room and location. Views to die for.”

The location is outstanding. As people have mentioned there is a bit of an uphill hike to the room. This only takes about 30 seconds and the staff take your luggage. Once you get to your room you see it was more than worth it. Not only the spectacular view but the room is very nice as well. Most comfortable bed we had in the Seychelles. The hosts were amazing and very kindly let us have a late checkout because of the time of our flight. Can't reccomend enough.

Fantastic view and very welcoming hosts! Road up to the house is quite challanging by car, but managable. And dont trust Google which guide you to drive through the church:) the right way is to go via main road and then up

A beautiful apartment with great views, and well located to explore the south of Mahe. Perhaps most importantly, we were made to feel so welcome by our host and his family. All round, one of the best places we have rented over the years.

The garden is magnificent, the house is very beautiful, cosy and comfortable. The owner family was kind and introduced us with his flying fox and gave some fruits from their garden, and also the house was decorated with flowers. This is the place we would love to return, and its a pity we didnt spent there more time.

“Nice property with beautiful view”

Is a beautiful property with an incredible view. Is 10’-15’ away from Baie Lazare Public beach. Michel and his wife are really nice and kind people. I recommend to rent a car while staying in Mahe, this way you have the mobility to go wherever you want and is easier to get to the property. Otherwise, is possible to find it a bit difficult to get to the property.

This place is amazing. Located in one of the best parts of Mahe and offering an incredible view of Bahie Lazare, the room is very well equiped and extremely clean. The garden is breathtaking too. Michel, the host, and all the family are very welcoming. We had a great stay!

“Beautiful place in a great location, close to possibly the best beaches on Mahe”

Les Elles Guesthouse is a piece of Eden! Run by a local guy named Michal, he has made every effort to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. The property comprises two large studios with spectacular terraces overlooking Baie Lazare. Waking up to the incredible view and having breakfast on the terrace was certainly amongst the highlights of our vacation in the Seychelles. The building is right at the top, at the steep end of Michal's land, opposite from his house. It feels secluded, peaceful and quiet all the time. Inbetween is the most spectacular and carefully maintained tropical garden we saw anywhere on the islands. Honestly, we paid for Victoria Botanical Gardens and Michal's garden is genuinely better. I mean, the family was up at 7am planting flowers on one of the days we were there!!
