Hotel is right in the city center, although at some 1.5 km from the historical city center and some 2 km away from the train station. Beds were confortable, spacious room fitted with all necessary thing, exactly what are you waiting from a hotel room. Baia Mare is a nice city with green suroundings.

The hotel is located in the city center, with easy access to public transportation. The rooms are large, heating was ok (they also have air conditioning, for the summer), very clean. Helpful personnel, good breakfast.

“A good hotel for a good price with parking”

Stayed for a day on July 7, 2024. A good large hotel on the square, not far from the center. All the necessary attributes: English-speaking friendly reception staff, clean, refrigerators and air conditioners in good condition, elevator, comfortable beds, mattresses and good linen. You will not find any special additional bonuses (slippers, bathrobes). Nevertheless, the range of services is excellent for this price. There are also balconies in each room, which many hotels in the center cannot boast of, as well as parking. And this is an absolute advantage of this hotel. You can quickly walk to the center. There are also many cafes and restaurants around hotel, including McDonald's (was closed for renovation in July) Features: the parking is located behind the hotel on the square. It is not immediately clear how to get to it from the street ( it turned out that you need to drive past the main entrance, which is not very convenient). Some navigation, information signs would not useful. The parking is open, unguarded and I am not sure that if it was full, there would be enough space for everyone. The breakfast is very modest (eggs, sausages, 1 type of cheese and bread, cereal, vegetables) and 2 very strange salads. Like Russian salad - they consist of many meat and vegetable ingredients. Such mixtures can be eaten at home and in expensive restaurants - when you are sure of the composition. Maybe they are tasty from fresh products, but they do not look appetizing - none of the visitors tried them at breakfast that day. I am sure this is not the first time. I think they need to be removed from the menu and spend this money to buy unprocessed products of better quality. Nevertheless, given the overall comfort and affordable price - these are not disadvantages, but features. And I will gladly stay at this hotel again.

The staff, very polite and friendly people . Another great thing about this place is that they have 24-7 a person in the reception! Nice breakfast, they offered us fresh omelettes because none was left when we were there for breakfast ( around 9:30).
