Hotel Mara is located in the commercial centre of Baia Mare, 1 km from the train station and 11 km from Baia Mare Airport. It offers free access to a sauna, salt room, hot tub and fitness centre. “Smart, comfortable hotel.”
Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The restaurant was very good and stayed open quite late. Parking was easy and free. The location was excellent as well. I liked the smart lobby area too.

“Very pleasant hotel and staff. I regret, I only discovered the massage clinic on the last day.”
The breakfast was real food and it included a large variety of warm and cold choices. Very tasty!

“Driving tour.”
Very nice, clean, classic style hotel. Great location. Good size rooms, comfortable bed, good facilities. We stayed 1 night on a driving tour of Romania. The prices were also very low.
