Quick check-in. The receptionist Meda was very kind. The hotel is close to the center, just a short walk away. The room was very spacious and super clean. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows too.

“Decent hotel in Baia Mare”
The hotel is a decent choice if you stay in town.I want to praise the work and attitude of Ms Meda from reception. She is friendly and so helpful! But all staff are OK! The bath was great.

Hotel Carpati was my first stop on a Romanian road trip, and it was a great choice. The location is perfect, with all major sights within walking distance. The free parking offered by the hotel was a big plus. The room was fairly clean, the bed was comfortable, and it came equipped with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. The bathroom was tidy, and basic toiletries were provided. The receptionist was extremely friendly, easy-going, and helpful with any questions I had. The internet connection was reliable and available in the room as well. Overall, a pleasant stay and a solid option for anyone visiting the area.

The room was very clean and large. Very nice and kind staff. location is great near by the river and the main center of the town. You have to try the restaurant with specific local cousine.
