A step back into Late Medieval Italy but with modern day comforts! This spacious maisonette offers a view of the main square and is furnished with taste but without frills. The steps might prove a challenge to those with weak knees and heavy luggage but worth the effort to reach the bedroom!

This is a beautiful apartment. Everything we needed was in the room with exception of shampoo and conditioner. The breakfast was excellent over at the adjacent wine bar. The room itself is beautifully appointed. Modern but in keeping with the era and feeling of the town. Communication from the owners was excellent and patient, especially as I was not at my brightest after a long 12 hrs of driving for the day. Knowing we were arriving late, the owners quickly recommended we eat straight away before the only restaurant at the time closed, and called ahead to let them know we were coming and to not close the kitchen. This was greatly appreciated 🙏 and over and beyond in regards of kindness and service.

The location, couldn't be better, and the house is beautiful. Very good taste in all the renovation. But, has a few downsides. No a/c... just a very noisy portable a/c, that didn't freshen. And constant noise from a ventilation machine. Such a pity, because the house is so beautiful.

Very nice place to stay with your family or as a couple. Beds were comfortable. You will have to park your car in Bagnoregio and then walk all the way to the top in Civita. So, for check in, I would definitely recommend to pack light and leave most of your stuff in the car.

The best location ever stayed. Full of history, beautiful - like living on a theatre stage!

A little confusion on how/where to get bus to the pick area for our luggage collection area and how to get it delivered across to the accommodation (across the footbridge) but host helped out and we got it sorted out. Perhaps these details (along with photos of location points) after booking is made could be communicated especially for those travelling by public transport (ie., not by car).

1 of the best accommodation In Civita with well decor and it is just near the square. however, it may be difficult for travellers with big suitcases particularly under the very hot weather. porter is not a bad choice. A special local transportation vehicle brings passengers fm the public car park up to the accommodation. only 1 passenger is allowed. cost €5 1 way. pay before the ride
