“An excellent quiet base from which to explore nearby Bagnoles and the surrounding area.”

Very tastefully renovated old property in lovely quiet location but close to all the facilities and attractions of Bagnoles de l'Ornes. Particularly of note was a beautiful walk into town entirely through the park/arboretum of an old Chateau and an excellent Creperie just down the road (do book beforehand if you want to go - it gets busy). Our room and bathroom were extremely spacious and we also had the use of a large lounge/dining area and a kitchenette on the ground floor. The weather was good so we were able to make use of the chairs, tables and loungers in the pretty gardens. Patricia our host was extremely amiable, quickly realised the things that would be of interest to us in the area and provided all sorts of background information, sometimes from her own private collection of books/memorabilia. Traditional French breakfast with different breads, pastries and home made jams to sample every day.

Fantastic B&B in a beautiful old property within walking distance of the centre of Bagnoles de l'Orne. The owner was very welcoming & provided a lovely breakfast.

“Characterful accommodation with a super host.”

The accommodation was recently renovated to a very high standard in keeping with the old Manor House and provided everything we needed. The bedroom was very clean and it had a well fitted en-suite bathroom. It was decorated with taste and style. The large double bed was very comfortable too. There was also a small kitchen downstairs with a fridge, which we could use, which was extremely useful to pop our picnic food in. Our host made our stay exceptional, however. Patricia was very helpful with local information and places to walk or visit and made us feel really welcome. Breakfast was set out for us in the morning with croissants and the homemade jams were delicious too! We will definitely return as soon as we possibly can.

My wife and I were really pleased that the property was private and quiet. Safe parking was also really appreciated. It was also a really interesting old building that had history but was very tastefully renovated. Our room was so comfortable and peaceful and the bed and linen made for a restful night on our journey north.

Beautiful Manoir, great location in Bagnoles. Very relaxing surroundings. Our host was extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely stay here again.
