Overview
A luxury villa surrounded by green areas, Villa La Massa features a garden with swimming pool, a spa, and a restaurant with terrace overlooking River Arno. It is located 8 km from Florence’s centre. Decorated with warm colours and classic-style curtains and bed linen, rooms at Villa Massa feature carpeted floors and some also come with wood-beamed ceilings. Each room has free Wi-Fi access. At the restaurant you can enjoy a breakfast buffet and traditional dishes of Italian cuisine prepared with homegrown products. Everything was so well maintained, the staff were so friendly and attentive, (particularly Mattia with the piña coladas!), it was a perfect little tranquil haven for our honeymoon - so calm and peaceful.

Rooms were beautiful and immaculate, beautifully designed. The hotel itself was beautiful and with perfect Tuscany charm. Enjoying river view at every breakfast and sunset at dinner are perfect ways to start the day and wind down after a day of touring. Breakfast was good and the hotel prepared fresh fruit juices every morning and brought them to the table specifically for the guests (unlike some where fruit juices were just produced in bulk and placed on buffet bar table). Staff were attentive and joyful - happy staff happy place! Prior to our arrival we requested the hotel to make a few restaurant reservations and we were presented with a professionally prepared typed up letter with details of all the reservations. These are the little details that differentiate a true five star hotel from a mediocre one. We loved the place so much and it's by far one of the best 5 stars hotel we've stayed at.

“Beautiful stay 20 minutes outside Florence shuttle almost every hour”
From the moment we entered it was five star service. At checkin Adel, Tamara and Nicolo were very cordial. The views of the river and beautiful hills made it hard to look away. All of the resteraunt’s were excellent and especially the very lovely staff. I would especially like to thank Vasilis for his great food recommendations and conversation.

“Top level relaxation”
The place is amazing. The view is beautiful, the pool, the garden and room are super clean. Food is great. Even the burger was top level. The room is cleaned and organized twice a day. They offer shuttle to the city (Florence).

Villa la massa was amazing, the staff went above and beyond with their level of service. The restaurants were both very good, breakfast each morning overlooking the river was fabulous. The spa therapist gave a wonderful massage and facial. The chef came out each day to ask everyone if they enjoyed their meal. The hotel rooms are gorgeous, the bathrooms were spacious, everywhere is absolutely spotless. The pool area was very well maintained, always someone to get you water, a towel. All the staff were just so friendly.
