“Charming villa outside Florence”

The villa is easily accessible and conveniently located outside of but close to Florence. Now that there's a ZTL (limited traffic area) encompassing the city centre, staying outside Florence is much easier and convenient. There's a village nearby, too - you can get the bus into Florence (around 25 minutes) from there. The owners are lovely - warm and welcoming, and happy to regale you with anecdotes about the property. The breakfast is amazing (and offered at no extra price). We also loved having a very good-sized apartment all to ourselves, and enjoyed being independent while also enjoying what the villa has to offer.

It's a lovely place and the pool after a long hot day working was lovely. Breakfast was good and there was a nice selection available. My room was enormous and had everything I needed.

“Huge pool, great food, massive rooms - and warm welcome”

Fantastic, lovely staff - good communication, helpful (got an extra fan for the hot nights), really lovely for dinners and breakfast. And what an amazing place - huge rooms, full of character, a vast garden, the largest swimming pool outside of the Olympics (5m deep!) and quiet surroundings - but only a 15 minute drive to the old city of Florence. There's a bus from just outside that takes you to Florence too. The restaurant options are great too - we ended up eating at the villa almost every evening (note it is closed on Monday like many places in Florence) and trying most of the options. Not a huge selection for vegetarians or vegans, but meat eaters will love the steak. All the pasta dishes were good, and the wine selection had a range of bottles around €20 which were lovely. What a setting too - when you see the photos, you realise it is a beautiful location. The sunset at the villa is ❤️

Nice luxorious stay..Big rooms and big swimming pool. Not overcrowded. Friendly host and staff.

Lovely and authentic place, a real oasis just outside of busy Florence. Perfect place to be near all the sights and fun and at the same time have some peace and quiet. Owners are friendly and helpfull. The pool is large and since there are just a few apartments, you often have it just to yourself;)

The staff were so accommodating and would do anything to help should you need it - fabulous service. You get the country stay but within a short distance from all of the attractions. There is a bus you can catch (number 23) directly into the centre of Florence from Bagno a Ripoli, and the bus stop was a short 10 minute away from the villa. Not to mention the beautiful villa itself. Would recommend.

The Villa was truly beautiful and the garden charming.The pool was clean and briliant in hot weather. There are some nice walks around the villa: to the river Arno and up to the hills. The only thing on these walks is the traffic. Alhough the paths are meant for walking, you will have to avoid cars. A rather large supermarket is within a 10 minute walk. I also appreciated smooth communication with the host and was very pleasantly surprised that the stay included breakfast! Overall, the villa provided a nice retreat from the noise and crowds od Florence.

“Authentic experience of provincial Florence”

Big rooms, the villa is old but very well maintained. The host does a very good job and tries to please you. The stay gives you a Tuscan experience and is close to the city. It is ideal if you are traveling by car. The breakfast was simple but genuine homemade

“Nice place for 1 night stay”

Convenient for 1 night. The hotel is 10 minutes away by car from the port, convenient for relaxing after arriving by ferry to Livorno. A small hotel on the outskirts of the city, there is a Parking space. Friendly host. The room is clean and cozy. On the 1st floor there is a vending machine with drinks and snacks. The breakfast is served in a nearby cafe.

Fascinating location in an 5 centuries old diomain with superb swimming pool. A little bit traffic noise but a nice experience. The Villa is an osteria as well.
