“FABULOUS”

The property was in a very tranquil location, close enough to the city centre of Florence but set in the beautiful country side! Beautiful location! Marco the host, was extremely helpful - he gave us some excellent recommendations for things to do, even suggested parking areas for when we went into Florence. We can’t wait to go back!!

We enjoyed staying in such a peaceful place that was far away from the city (and vineyard), but still easily accessible by the bus. The apartment has an enjoyable old Italian feel which is a real nice change compared to our day to day life. The grounds are beautifully kept, and that's without mentioning the pool or the view from the pool- It looks like a paintingci tell ya. We had all the necessary appliances from AC, showering, cooking and cleaning, which worked no issue and are kept spotlessly clean. And there's Marco... a true gem of a host. His appreciation and care for the incredible property is so good to see He never failed to meet our needs or be any further than an arms reach or phone call if we needed him.

This is a beautiful environment and a relaxing stay outside of Florence. The views from the swimming pool are gorgeous surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. Marco is very hospitable and there were thoughtful touches throughout. The bed was comfortable and the shower had very good water pressure. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking and serving options. We would love to return and explore the area more. It was a wonderful location for taking the bus into Florence as well as touring the local vineyards in Tuscany.

The property was everything it said it was - quiet, calm, tranquil, in nature, beautiful pool, and couple of hundred meters from a bus stop to the city centre. Marco was lovely, and helpful and always attentive. The concept is country style, laid back and no bling - homely and comfortable.

Nice location just a few km outside of Florence and amazing view from the pool. There is free parking and a bus station is nearby if you need it. Marco is a helpful host.

“Wonderful Agritorismo with the nicest host you could wish”

It is a wonderful Agritorismo in the mountains above Florence. So quite and beautifully situated. I stayed in „Ciliega“ and it was perfect. Wonderful equipped, comfortable bed, many towels and nice and big bathroom. And the best is definitely the host Marco. He helped me a lot, is so friendly and even drove mit to the city. I’ll come again

“Definitely the place to combine sightseeing and relaxing”

Great place to discover Florence and to relax too Most beautiful pool with view into the Tuscan hills, vineyards and olive groves. The flat is spacious and clean, good bed. We came via train and the suburban busline into the city is just 5 min away so you don’t need a car. Marco, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. We were very happy to stay and will definitely come again

“Absolutely wonderful”

My husband and I (early 30s) had a wonderful time at Le Civette. We stayed for 7 nights. The location was an excellent base to explore Florence and the Tuscan countryside. It feels rural although is actually very well connected and only 20 minutes outside of Florence. We hired a car from the airport which made exploring a lot easier. We did also take the bus a couple of times to travel into Florence. It's only a 10 minute walk to the bus stop and they are quite frequent. The accommodation was very clean and the pool is fantastic. The view across the olive groves is stunning! Marco was a very good host. He recommended some local spots for dinner and helped us to book a table and organise wine tasting locally. He made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The kitchen is well equipped to make simple meals and we appreciated the constant supply of coffee capsules! We would love to return to Le Civette and feel there is still plenty to explore in the area. We would highly recommend Le Civette for couple holidays, although the shared facilities (outdoor dining area and BBQ) would lend itself to small groups such as family or friends. We didn't use these as each apartment also has its own outdoor seating.

“Beautiful Tuscan estate, very close to Florence”

We loved the pool area, which is a really romantic place overlooking hills and vineyards. It is also very beautiful in the evening when solar lights turn on. Marco has been most pleasant host, ready to help you with anything you need. The check-in and check-out process was extremely easy.

The size of the apartment, its cleanness, the garden attached, the beautiful surroundings and the owner who was very friendly and attentive to our needs.

The best location to explore both the city and its museums and the tuscan countryside. Le Civette Country resort is only about 20 minute bus ride from the city center. Buses run from morning 6:30am to 11:30pm and they stop near Ponte Vecchio and other key locations of the city. The location is stunning with tuscan villas, vineyards and olive gardens. All rooms are suite rooms with a kitchen area. Bathroom is equipped with nice accessories (great bath products with locally produced olive oil). The bed and pillows are very comfortable. It is a quite place unlike city based hotels. Last but not least, Marco, my host, is a nice person. He took me to a neighboring golf course where he plays golf most days. He and his wife paid my drinks at the golf course restaurant. I will definitely go back to Le Civette when I visit Florence next time.

Marco è molto simpatico

It is a nice place to stay if you want to chill out after visiting Filorence in summer.or just relax and spend a couple of days in a quite place. The swimming pool is fantastic.

It was very quiet and comfortable. The host, Marco, was outstanding - unobtrusive but very friendly. When an issue arose, he sorted it out immediately and without fuss. We unreservedly recommend La Civette.
