“A lovely place with beautiful views”

The road to Casignano can be a little difficult as it is very narrow and winding.

After the hustle and bustle of Florence, it was such a relief to return to the peaceful, forested, and cooler setting of this accommodation. The view from the room overlooking the valley was also stunning. But what we appreciated the most were our lovely hosts, Maurizio and Christina – they were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you again for all your efforts!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful B&B in the hills of Florence. The location was perfect - away from the Florentine heat; very quiet, and ideal for sleeping in and truly relaxing! Christina and Maurizio are the most delightful hosts! Incredibly attentive, kind, and welcoming. They even shared fresh fruit from their own garden with us! The house itself has an authentic Tuscan charm that made us feel right at home. The directions provided were spot-on. We had no trouble finding the place at all, which made arriving stress-free and easy. We honestly couldn't have chosen a better place for our vacation. There was not a single thing we would not have enjoyed! Highly recommended - we will definitely be back!

Maurizio and Christine are really friendly and helped us getting settled, showing us the apartment, and where everything is. They also gave us beautiful tomatoes and fruit from their own garden. The space you get is wonderful, and the views from the deck is spectacular.

If you want to experience the true essence of Tuscany, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the perfect place. Nestled in the hills of Tuscany, this phenomenal location offers a genuine Tuscan experience. The property is an old Tuscan house, beautifully adapted to accommodate guests. It is extremely clean and retains a very authentic charm. The property features donkeys and horses that you can pet and feed, adding to the unique charm of the stay. The view from the rooms is incredible, offering breathtaking scenery. However, the real gems are the hosts, Christina and Maurizio. They will win you over with their authenticity and charm. Such wonderful people! Staying here feels like a true home away from home, thanks to their warm hospitality. Highly recommended! Important note: Do not follow Google Maps directly to the location as it will take you on a forest path that is not accessible. Instead, go to San Donato in Collina and from this town, enter the property's location into Google Maps.

“Beautiful stay, great hospitality”

The entire building and surrounding area is magnificent: old toscanian house, but renovated, cosy atmosphere yet modern equipment. Comfortable beds; room with several windows for a splendit view of the landscape. Very comforting and friendly hosts, very good breakfast.

We loved everything about our stay in Casignano. Maurizio and Tina were incredible hosts. They picked us up and dropped us up where we needed at no additional cost. They provided an amazing breakfast and were incredible people who made you feel at home and like family. The view and location was 10/10. So quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Could not have had a better stay.

It is a fantastic location in few minutes drive from the city. My kids LOVED it, with the small horses and donkeys, the olive plants and the mega relaxed environment, covered parking for the cars. We had the apartment rented, which has a great kitchen with all equipped you need. The owners were very kind, helped us with everything we needed with a very positive attitude.

Extremely beautiful place with amazing views. Very clean and comfortable, we were there with a 6 weeks old baby and everything was perfect. Home made breakfast! Maurizio and Christina are super nice and treated us like family. We will come back!

Everything was PERFECT! I fell in love with landscape and view, amazing village. This place is wonderful if you want to run away from the city and noises, you can seriously rest here. Additionally owners - Tina and Mauricio - are the most precious people on the earth. There are also horses and donkeys there - and they are very cute and friendly! Florence is really close, about 15 minutes by car. Highly recommend!

“the view saves everything”

The place is very nice, situated at 20km from Florence, away of any noise, on top of a hill. Still be sure you would enjoy a place like this, far from any civilization having the access road narrow, without asphalt and through the forest. Breakfast was good, fresh fruits, cakes, very good coffee, cheese etc. Christina was very nice and provided me the recipes for her apple and cinnamon cake, which was fantastic.

This place is magical and we felt here like at home. Maurizio and Christina took great care of us. During our two weeks roadtrip in Italy we stayed in many accomodations and this one we enjoyed the most – staying in a beautiful room with amazing view at the Tuscan landscape, having delicious breakfast and dinner, sipping wine while watching the stars on the terrace and having long discussions about life with our lovely hosts. Eventhough the location is quite remote we didn't mind and had no problem to make trips to Florence and to the countryside.
