Overview
Housed in a medieval village, La Bagnaia is just 12 km away from the city of Siena, and offers a host of entertaining activities, visits to local cellars, cultural tours of Siena and the surroundings, and excursions by car or scooter. The hotel offers 72 unique rooms and suites all situated in the medieval village of La Bagnaia. All have free WiFi and air-conditioning, tastefully decorated in rich red and yellow tones, designed to compliment the historical Tuscan architecture. The rooms are cleverly combined with original, antique Chinese and Indian decorative pieces, personally selected by the owner during her travels around the world. Guests can enjoy the restaurant La Voliera for dinner after reservation. Lunch is available at Alfresco Pool Bar or at the restaurant in the Club House of the Royal Golf. “worst hotel I've ever been to. absolutely does not deserve even 2 stars.”
Absolutely awful hotel. Bugs, no working air conditioning, rude and ignoring hotel guests manager and worst of all.. no water in the pool in May. Hotel failure.

“Not professional”
We booked this place so that we could relax at the pool, sadly the pool wasn’t ready and was without water in May (28 degrees Celsius)! The room was full of humidity as the weather was very hot and the AC isn’t strong enough to dry and make it cooler. Breakfast is good! Sadly the manager treats their workers badly that I felt sorry for them.

“An authentic Tuscany experience”
The property was everything we imagined a romantic Tuscany vacation would be. It was so authentic. The room was beautiful and they do such a wonderful job at cleaning it. The details every time they cleaned were amazing. It is a big property a little bit away from all the buzz and the fuzz so you have a lot of privacy and some peace and quiet. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. We had a lot of fun meeting them and talking to them. The breakfast is amazing, a lot of different options. The dinner is not really filling is more of an experience. Even tho it was a bit pricey we had a lot of fun. We are definitely coming back!

“Wonderful stay in Tuscany - golf and pool spectacular!”
Room in H block was roomy and amazing view, pool and surrounding grounds spectacular. Restaurant was exceptional as well, we’ve hit several Michelin restaurants on same trip and this was as good as or better. Staff very helpful to suggest & book wineries.

“It does not meet your expectations due to old facilities no vivid atmosphere”
It misses something - very low for the standards of other Tuscany’s places Buildings not connected to each other Restaurant closes early , no bar to drink even wine after 10. Swimming pools in nowhere with extra lengths for nothing Rooms spacious but inducing no good feeling In the night you get afraid as you feel that you are staying in a forgotten village

“Great hotel if your playing golf at Royal Golf La Bagnaia”
We played golf at the adjoining course, which was superb. The restaurant was good, if a little noisy as there was a large corporate group, but the next morning g got breakfast it was super tranquil.

“Disappointing and not as presented.”
Felt like we were there in the "off season". The pool wasn't open in late April although one day it was very hot - 28 degrees. No room service. Could not call reception directly. Nothing in the room to tell us about things to do/places to visit nearby. No bicycles. No information at all about what to do if you weren't playing golf. Would not return or recommend.

“It was peaceful, relaxing and Idylllic”
It was stunning, the location was perfect, the pool and pool area were lovely with beautiful views across the countryside. It was so quiet and perfect. Our room was very spacious with large bathroom and again we didn’t hear a thing. The Hotel was located close to Sienna which I would highly recommend to visit.
