“Beautiful Hostal in the middle of nature”

We had an amazing time at the Santuari de Paller. We stayed 3 nights in order to hike in the vicinity; as we did not have a car we ended up eating almost all of our meals at the restaurant, which was great as both the breakfasts and dinners were excellent! The dinner menu is great value and offers delicious Catalan food. The staff were super friendly and made an effort to communicate with us despite our non-existent Catalan. They also made special accommodations for us upon our arrival despite a considerable delay on our part. Our room (or apartment) was great and returning from a hike with a lit fireplace is a rare joy I will not forget :)

Friendly owners, despite of language issue try to go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Good breakfast for what you can expect in a former sanctuary.

“A lovely property set in nature”

Breakfast was quite nice, with freshly-squeezed orange juice, a selection of pastries, pan con tomate, and more. They also will cook up eggs and other items. I had a lovely French omelette. Our dinner was very nice as well. We opted for slow-roasted beef cheek and duck confit with grilled pears. The room was small but comfortable, and the beds perfect. There are nice walks directly from the property, lots of birds, and a small stream, filled at the time of our visit with salamander larvae. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the cats wonderful, particularly Taca. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

Breakfast, staff, location

The place is beautiful, and the staff really friendly and helpful. We had lunch there -they offer menus with up to five options for 21 euros, all we tried was very good- and a quick breakfast before leaving (also very good, with natural orange juice, bread, pastries, cold meat, cheese, etc). There are plenty of nice walks in the area.

Loved the food, generous portions and great quality! Loved the hosts as well, really kinds people. The place is beautiful and really surrounded by nature. Bonus points: a very cuddly cat!

Food lovely. The menu didn’t have much vegetarian options but the staff were very accommodating and cooked us up some vegetarian dishes which were lovely!

I really liked the location, the staff was very helpful and the room was nice and clean. Good value for money and we had lunch and dinner and the food was really good.
