A very friendly family guesthouses in a beautifully renovated colonial villa. We were given a very warm welcome even though the host present during our stay did not speak much English. Breakfast was delicious. Thank you!!

“Cozy property with an amaing staff”

The staff is incredibly accomodating, friendly and helpful; fulfilling all our requests. The rooms are very clean and the bathroom is modern. As well as having a beatiful garden where one can relax after a long day, the Villa is conveniently located near the center making it easily accessible and in close proximity to shops and restaurants. The food provided at the property was excellent along with the homemade juices we were offered.

We were looked after by a lovely pair of older ladies who cooked us the most delicious Sri Lankan breakfasts and dinners. We were also greeted by the owner, Nihal, who had come up for a couple of days from Colombo, and we sat two nights on the patio with him drinking gin and tonic and hearing about the history and politics of the region. It was a wonderful stay and will be much remembered. Thank you.

“Gorgeous villa, wonderful experience”

We arrived in the evening after a long train journey. We were tired and hungry and our hosts gave us the best welcome! We met Nihal and his family who invited us to have drinks with them and it was so great chatting with them. The housekeepers had prepared us a Sri Lankan dinner which was outstanding - probably the best food we’ve tried during our month long stay! They were just so kind and they really looked after us. Breakfast was also absolutely amazing. The villa is gorgeous and the location is in Badulla town which was great, we did have a little look around the next morning. The room and bathroom were spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Great shower too. Highly recommend staying here - it was one of the highlights of our time in Sri Lanka.

Beautiful old house, friendly staff, big breakfast.

Lovely friendly care takers, great breakfast, freshly made sri lankan food, catered for our needs. Very Clean house, and room and showers. Beds had nets so can have a safe peaceful night sleep. Location very close to shops and restaurant. 10/15 mins drive to Fort station, would book again.

It’s clean and the whole shebang is professional. Two caretakers there are exceptional. They are very nice and made us to feel like home. We were privileged to stay there on a special day in the Sri Lankan calendar (Sinhala new year). Owner in Colombo who’s on constant touch with the caretakers to make sure all are comfortable. Superb Sri Lankan breakfast. Mamma Mia!!!!. We came here via a word of mouth through our acquaintance in the UK. Definitely we’ll pass the word around about this place among our friends in the UK. We wanted traditional Sri Lankan food and it was delicious. We were well looked after here, my husband had a medical issue here and we were enquired after by staff, the owner and their friends to make sure we were okay. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. Definitely go there if need accommodation in Dambulla.
