“The most welcoming place”
I wish I could give an even better score because this stay was so lovely. Our host Hansana was so welcoming and friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. We had lunch here and it was delicious, I’d never had Sri Lankan yellow watermelon before and it was such a treat! He brought us tea in the afternoon and even brought us cake on HIS birthday! His 18th birthday! Could not imagine a better host, a real asset to this place. Our room was everything we needed, comfy and nice plump pillows, the towel swan was such a cute touch and our balcony led straight to the communal dining balcony which was handy and we could watch the cheeky monkeys walking the electrical cables and running along rooftops. The views were stunning and you can just about see the newly built Alugolla Samadhi Buddha Statue on the hill. Couldn’t recommend this place any more

The place is run by a young guy who really knows how to make customers happy. He was super helpful and went out of his way to take care of our large group of ten. It’s also really close to our family home in Badulla, and offers great value for the price. Very clean rooms, good food etc

This is a lovely property with an amazing view on the quiet outskirts of Badulla. Hasindu is an extremely cheerful, helpful host, and he is also a great cook! He helped us arrange everything we wanted to do and was very responsive to everything we needed help with. I would definitely stay here again!
