We spend one night here on our way to Ella, very close to Dunhinda waterfalls, which were amazing. The views from our room were so beautiful, one of the best views we have had. The lady was nice and so kind. Our own Internet Dialog worked very well. Some reviews said that there wasn't much coverage, but ours did work well.

I had an amazing stay at Room Duhinda. The host is a super lovely, helpful lady who makes the most delicious rice and curry! The location is perfect in the middle of nature, surrounded by beautiful mountains and very close to the Duhinda waterfalls. If I will ever be in Sri Lanka again, I will make sure to come visit:)

Wonderful friendly owner who speaks good English & who kindly parked our tuktuk for us. A good stopping point just outside Badulla. Fairly basic facilities with a good fan.

“Really lovely people, and a proper authentic homestay. But difficult with no wifi, and remote!”
The location was great if you wanted to visit Dunhinda Waterfall (epic) or bathe in the local waterfall, which was such a blissful experience! The hostess was nice and caring, and happy to have you in her home. Breakfast can be provided if arranged the night before, and was nice, traditional fare. I was also given tea on arrival. It was fun to be in the hills, and there are frequent buses to Badulla.The room was ok, as was the shower, but no internet/signal was a pain.

“Host went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable!”
Host was lovely. Cozy comfortable room. Felt safe as a female solo traveller. Host was always available by phone. Organised tuk tuk. Fed me snacks and took me swimming at the nearby waterfall. Introduced me to the neighbours on the way to the river. They have laundry service!

Adorable family. Did everything possible to make us feel confortable : extra matress for the kids, extra towels (usually we get only 2). Welcome tea was appreciated.
