The owners were overseas but the caretakers who were in charge were just amazing. Bed and pillows were comfy. Amenities were provided: soap, shampoo, toothpaste, coffee & bottled water. The water refill station outside the room came in handy. Nearby are 7-11, small stores & Payag restaurant which served good food. I didn’t realize I booked the shared toilet but it was spacious and clean plus no other guests to share it with. You can book everything with them from taxi, canyoneering & sardine run tour. The price was worth it.

The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The place was well kept and very clean. The location was the perfect jumping point to attractions in Badian and the south of Cebu with several options nearby for transportation.

We stayed here for a few days and - thanks to the owners - had an absolutely wonderful time. They are incredibly hospitable and friendly, and they help you with everything you need. The rooms, shared bathroom, and common areas are very clean. The town of Badian is a great local base for doing a canyoneering tour at Kawasan Falls (which can also be very well arranged through the guesthouse), visiting Osmeña Peak (or other viewpoints), exploring more waterfalls, or simply enjoying a scooter ride along the coast or through the countryside. We won’t forget these days and they will have a special place in our hearts ❤️

The owners were amazingly kind and welcoming, gave us great tips for our ongoing travels, were always super friendly and lovely. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, the beds fairly comfortable, AC worked well. I really enjoyed the view from the balcony with the amazing „public pool“ and huge fig tree. The area is not very touristy so you’re a little bit of an attraction here as a foreigner but there’s some local food options around and the Kawasan falls are close by.

Perfect, quiet, clean

Spotlessly clean, great facilities, best value accommodation I've experienced in Philippines. Rey the owner and family lovely and really helpful. Excellent breakfast available - amazing omelettes! To help you find it it's located next to the public swimming pool, which isn't quite what you might expect!

It’s a homey guesthouse that comfortably hosted my family of 2 adults and 2 kids (14 and 11 yo). Ray was a fantastic host and seeing we had two kids upgraded us to a room with an attached bathroom which was super helpful. The location is right by Kawasen Falls so for those looking to do canyoneering the location is perfect. Ray can help arrange as well. One evening we brought back some takeout and Ray helped set up a couple of plates and cutlery for us, which we really appreciated. There is a market nearby with variety of food choices and for those less adventurous there’s also a 7-Eleven and two bakeries nearby as well.

The staff was great, friendly and very helpful! You can also book the canyoneering activity at the house if you want.

When they say its a guest house, you really are treated like a guest! I had a wonderful couple of days stay here and the owners and house keeper were always smiley, helpful and up for a chat! All the facilities were clean and tidy, with everything you need in your room! The guest house is set in beautiful surroundings and allows you to be part of the local community! There are a few restaurants I recommend (will need a scooter): Zanman Grill and Eskapo Verde

The very first time we experience European standard water pressure in the shower 😁 moreover the whole house and especially the bathroom is super clean and beautifully. Big rooms with very comfortable mattresses. Additionally the location couldn't be better, 1 min walking to the "main market". The wifi connection was a bit slow from time to time, but this is nothing compared to the benefits of this stay. 100% recommend

Excellent location....good value for money....

The room and entire accommodation were spotless. The hosts were very nice, welcoming, and accommodating needs. There're complimentary toiletries, coffee sachets, drinking water hot/cold. There's kettle and cups in the room. Good AC, wifi, sometimes unstable, but it was possible to manage online video conversations. There are a lot of places to get food in the walkable distance. Good spot to further exploration of the island as there're good bus connections.

Couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The property is right in the middle of all the activities you could want to do (canyoneering, zip lines, floating island, snorkelling, diving, etc) but is not a tourist trap like Moalboal. The property has a fresh water pool right outside which is a great place to interact with the locals and there is a market within 5 mins walk. The hosts were incredibly hospitable, and helped us plan and book several activities. Will definitely be going back when we visit again and would recommend to everyone!
