“One of our best hotels ever!”

We had half board and the meals were by far the best of our holiday. On our first night we were given free wine tasting with local produce. Our room in the annexe was exceptionally large and clean with an amazing panoramic view from the balcony. Parking was free right outside the hotel with the option of garage parking. All the staff were very friendly and helpful especially our waitress at breakfast and dinner.

The location of this hotel is really good and the room actually exceeded my expectations. We had a large room in a separate building across the main hotel, with a balcony, offering a stunning view towards the Dolomites. No objections regarding cleanliness. Parking is available, at no extra charge, in front of the hotel or in the hotel's garage.

Fabulous. Wonderful hotel in a beautiful village. Great experience in the Dolomites. We had a fabulous room. The owners and staff were exceptional, so welcoming. The food was unbelievable (and I do recommend that you eat here). Loved everything. I wished we stayed longer. Simply wonderful!

The hotel room was very loud. The staff and owner was extremely rude to us and disrespectful. We had booked through booking.com all of our hotels and booking.com charged us for the hotel automatically for the rest of our trip. For some reason, Cavaillino did not do the same. When we checked out there was no one at the front desk so we assumed it was fine to leave like all other hotels we stayed at. However I got several rude emails within 24 hours threatening to call the Italian police on us for not paying the tax. Additionally when telling Armin we would pay immediately he did not answer his phone calls and told us he was “busy” but not busy enough to threaten us and send us an email in all caps? In the US we typically do not need to check out manually since we pay online. Armin was not understanding and so rude saying it was “not a matter of being polite” even though we addressed the issue immediately.If you run a hotel and have international customers with other customs or systems you should learn to be more patient or at least not be so accusatory. Im really dissapointed by the lack of warmth, rudeness, and harsh written messages. For a three star hotel i expect a lot more maturity from the owner

“SIMPLY THE BEST! You won't be disappointed!”

Having visited over 30 countries in Europe, the Cavallino is our favorite hotel! The staff at this beautiful family run hotel are all wonderful. The property has been in the family since the mid-1800's. The new hotel was built in 2010 and was built to very high standards. The food (both breakfast and dinner) are delicious. Definitely purchase the pre-paid dinner: a delicious 5-course meal and, If the pre-set menu doesn't suit you, you can order off of their dinner menu. They offer several vegetarian entrees. The views from the rooms are amazing! We stayed three nights. On the first night of our stay, the hotel provided complimentary drinks and appetizers before dinner on the back patio. This was our third stay at the Cavallino in ten years and we are never disappointed. At 5 or 6 pm, the local cows are paraded up the street wearing their bells. Fun to watch! Even some of the lovely art work was created by mother and daughter of the large hotel family.

Couldn't find any faults absolutely fantastic service and all the facilities perfect!!! I'm sorry I couldn't stay longer!!! I will definitely return!!!
