The style of the hotel is very cute, has a personality and the hosts are very helpful and nice. The bedrooms are beautiful and the hotel is super dog friendly. The staff is also very friendly. Location is great for hiking and eating out. The shower looked very nice and worked very well. I would certainly come back.

We loved everything. Michael and Sonja were lovely hosts who took good care of us. The breakfast was sumptuous, nicely served on an Etagere. So many choices for breakfast. We lacked for nothing and would definitely recommend this hotel. We will be coming back.

“Simply outstanding!”

I have stayed in quite a few hotels in Badenweiler over the years. This was my first stay at Villa Rosenhof and definitely the best hotel in Badenweiler for me. It was small and charming, beautifully furnished, the owners are delightful and attentive, the services, especially the breakfast, wonderful and excellent value for money. I shall be returning for sure.

It is a very uniquely decorated with a personal touch. Nice owners and very helpful. It is perfectly located in middle of the city close to the thermen. Breakfast was very good and too much to eat. The room was very good with specific interior and well balanced. The balcony was perfect on these warm days

great hotel with very nice staff, a one of a kind hotel in the middle of the town. every where you look in the hotel you see how much love and eye for detail they have. I was smiling from ear to ear all the time. The breakfast was made with so much love and nicely presented.

Nicely located in the local shopping street with plenty of shops, wineries, bakeries, and restaurants. The hotel has its own free parking but it is on the small size. Not that it matters, there should be enough parking spots for all the guests if everyone park their cars correctly.

“Super lovely hotel location as base to explore the Schwarzwald”

Perfect position in the town of Badenweiler, close to everything (restaurants, coffee-shops, city park, thermal facilities etc), yet extremely calm and quiet, easily accessible, well kept. The hotel is chic in its very own way, with furnishings that evoke the XIXth century in the styles but heavily revisited, with lots of post-modern and screaming-colours touches. The two hosts (the Halbreiters) are wonderful people, very attentive to the well-being of their guests, easy on backup solutions, ready to answer to all questions, and sources of great advices about the town and surroundings. They personally arrange every day a beautiful breakfast for each guests, with commercial or local products, and play the game of "serving at the table" with great elegance and lots of fun. Our room even had a little terrace on the back of the building, for relax and eating when you feel too tired to go out. All this in the sweet and romantic setting of southern Schwarzwald... could you ask for more ?

To our enjoyment of our stay, there were the hospitality, the cleanliness, the location of the most beautiful villa, the size of the bedroom and bathroom. Particulary noteworthy was the 5* breakfast, we haven't had such a good experience in a hotel in this regard.

My 5 year old son and I had a mummy/son mini break here. What Michael and Sonja have created at the Rosenhof is truly special. The location is excellent and we just loved how the whole place is decorated! The hosts were warm and welcoming and so lovely with my son. The breakfast was phenomenal: beautifully presented and a wide selection of food. Thank you for such a memorable stay. Highly recommend!
