“A charming hotel in an excellent location in Baden Baden.”

The excellent and quiet location in the old town of Baden Baden directly across from the Friedrichsbad. My single room was a larger size and they gave me my room request on an upper floor. I appreciated that the hotel has an elevator. The breakfast buffet is in a well appointed room and the server brings a jug of coffee to your table. This is a nice touch as many places now have those self serve, push a button coffee machines. Fresh rolls, muesli, boiled eggs, sliced meats, tomatoes,cucumbers, yogurts, cheeses, juice are all on offer.

The hotel was fully hooked and transferred us to another hotel, whose location is very hard to reach, especially for someone with a kinderwagen. The lady at this new hotel was also not friendly and helpful, all in all, I am very disappointed. I understand over-booking happens all the time, but the way this hotels handles its customers are quite unsatisfactory.

“Lovely area”

Had to walk back to Laterne restaurant to check in as the building is not staffed at all after 5pm... ?? room was good, clean and in a lovely area of town. Also had a very good view of Friedrichsbad from my room The staff at the restaurant were friendly and welcoming for check in, but the staff at breakfast were quite inattentive. Breakfast was ok, small variety. coffee was really good. The restaurant next door 'MoMo Modern Bistro' was absolutely fantastic for dinner and the owners are so nice.

You can't beat the location, especially if you want to explore the old town and go swimming at either of the Thermal baths! Right beside the old bath, and just a one minute walk away from the Caracalla Therme! And then just down the road are all the food and shopping options! The room we got was a corner one that had a nice balcony too. It was spacious enough, and very clean. The breakfast was simple, but enough and a nice start to the day.

Made a trick with the payment and made us pay twice about vat even though we had paid via booking.com . Highly don’t recommend. We felt very very bad about the situation after the staff said that if we do not pay than they would cancel the reservation .

The property was a complete scam . They made us pay extra money even though the booking said that the charges and taxes included they said that if you do not pay again than the booking shall be canceled. Highly don’t recommend this scammer !

“Amazing experience, friendly and professional staff”

For the period I booked this hotel it was under reconstruction, that’s why I received message with free upgrade to other hotel, in the same area. They were very polite and wrote many messages to be sure that I received upgrade. After booking we walked next to the hotel and we saw its ultracentral location, just in front of Caracalla Therme. So I highly recommend this hotel as responsible host and very friendly staff in all chain of hotels and restaurants.
