I was travelling with my elderly mother to see family living in the area. Security, familiarity and comfort were therefore priorities for us. This property offered all of this. Luckily my mum can climb two flights of stairs which is necessary to reach the bedrooms. Bedrooms are street side and there is some commuter traffic in the early hours. From the neighbouring farms one can hear the roosters crowing and the cattle lowing. The bathroom is large and spacious. The views from the property are fantastic. Outdoor furniture is well placed throughout the yard and stone patios. We made use of the outside spaces while the weather was good. A car definitely makes this area easier to explore and during inclement weather, the garage was a welcome feature. There are bus stops a few minutes away but we did not use public transport. Cycling is very common in the area. We shopped for groceries in Bad Wurzach. You can park in the centre of the town for a fee. We would have loved to walk the pathway (Achgasse) in town along the Ach but there had been flooding and it frequently rained. The host family was so welcoming and kind. Evi went above and beyond to help us make this stay, our first booking stay ever, very enjoyable and relaxing.
