The apartment was spacious, had everything you need. Beautiful panoramic view from the dining room. Comfortable double bed, everything was clean. Helpful staff.

Family run hotel and it really has a Panoramic view. Staff were excellent and went out of their to accommodate you. Location is perfect. The bed was comfortable, and breakfast buffet had a good choice.

The host was incredibly nice and everything was spotless and clean. The views on the Black Forest in autumn while having breakfast are breathtaking! We would gladly stay here again in the future!

The view. Well once we finally got through the Sunday market preventing us from getting there, selecting the correct narrow steep one way street and spotted the hotel, a bit frazzled by all that, we stopped to see if this was really the hotel. I saw a man and a woman flailing their arms, from a balcony, I thought first they were waving us up. Turned out the guy had some kinda affliction. My wife on a scouting party heads up the hill and behold me behind her, who were we greeted by, the owner. So with his kindness and help, we got our rental car safely in the hotels parking spaces. He gave us a center suite with a huge balcony with a lovely view overlooking the city, told us of a few places to eat, explained other matters, explained the operation of the elevator, I might’ve pressed the alarm button? We were in France and then Germany for five weeks. Both I and my wife agree, the breakfast here was the best we experienced. This hotel as many we’ve experienced, is pretty employee free, we stayed two nights further south in the Black Forest, self check in, and the two days we didn’t see a living sole, so this is not these days unusual. No one is available to work these days. They are all found at airports aimlessly traveling. We were outta season, so the city was quiet 🤐.

“Beautiful location with clean rooms and friendly staff”

Great location with beautiful views and very friendly staff! The room was clean, practical and spacious - actually at checkin we were given the apartment with a kitchen option, even though we booked a standard room. Close to the funicular, s-bahn and thermal baths - just a couple of minutes on foot to the town center. Nice breakfast as well, during which the owner checks with the guests if everything is fine. A definite recommendation!

Checking in was super smooth despite the very last minute reservation we made, we could leave the bikes in a secured garage, the owner was super nice and breakfast had a bit for every taste. We would recommend for a stop in the town!

We arrived early and although reception was closed the friendly staff invited us to move into our room. (just before mid-day) Breakfast was excellent. They also had a coffee machine that made a great strong flat white coffee to kick start the day. We were also travelling with our Golden Retriever dog so great to find a pet friendly location.

A great apartment in a lovely location. We were looking for a place as a stopover next to the Treetop Adventure on the way to Italy, and being fed up of hotel rooms when travelling with a child we thought we would try this instead. We weren't disappointed. A very warm welcome from the owner and a lot of care and attention to what we might need. A great breakfast. I would recommend this for a longer stay.

The room was really big, with a big balcony. Everything was clean, modern and comfortable, staff was nothing but sweet and thoughtful, the included breakfast had a nice selection.

Everything was perfect,the owner is very kind,we booked three rooms,he double upgraded us an apartment with three bedrooms,two kitchens and one sitting room,each room with balcony from where you can enjoy the amazing view.We had a great time,wish could stay for more nights.

My wife wanted to take her grandson on a long weekend getaway in the Black Forest, where she would have a view from a balcony, located in a central area close to the business area of town. She was able to chose a wonder location which gave me then the opportunity to tweak in a suitable room environment which we as a threesome could enjoy. The host was excellent and accommodating. He was available when we arrived and was very informative as to what was where in the apart-hotel and what we could do in this resort town.

Fabulous location, large spacious apartment, staff were very friendly, breakfast had plenty of options.

Breakfast was excellent, with a lovely view. A great range of food. Lovely place to stay, close to the town, with a fabulous dawn chorus from the birds in the forest.

The location was perfect for exploring. Accommodation was perfect for sharing with a family member with his little cat. We were welcomed warmly and looked after very well.

Arrived too early and checked out too late, but the staff was very helpful and sorted it for me. Nice cosy relaxed hotel with magnificent view overlooking the valley - and not expensive at all.
