It was charming, not old-fashioned yet not too modern - everything was tastefully decorated, and very comfortable! I was warmly greeted by everyone who worked there. The breakfast buffet had so many different things to offer, even with dietary limitations I had a feast.

“Best value for money, ideal for cyclists”
Modern hotel close to the center at great value for solo bike travelers. The breakfast was the best I had on my long trip in Europe. I could store my bike in a separate garage with plenty electric sockets for charging.

Very clean. Comfortable bed and pillows. Host very friendly. We enjoyed drinks in the lovely garden following a long drive from the ferry near Amsterdam. Just what we needed

Owner of the. hotel was present to meet us on arrival and all staff did everything with a huge smile and even when we made last minute changes of guests visiting for meals unnannounced This is a better option than the guest houses which are more centrally located three minutes drive away as it offers an outdoor seating in garden and indoor restaurant with dining. having kids. everything is at most a 10 mins walk away but driving was easy enough anyway. would recommend this to any regular international traveller..

“OK hotel but I'll look elsewhere next time I'm in the area.”
Two middle aged couples on an 18-day 12 hotel road trip thru DE-CH-IT-CH-DE. This was our 11th stop. Hotel being on the cheaper side of them all, we liked the area and the hotel. The restaurant at this hotel had "ruhe tag", so we can't judge that.

“Very pleasant stopover. Wish we could have stayed longer.”
Bathroom was quite small especially for a longer stay. We had booked overnight accommodation and so was sufficient. Excellent breakfast. Short walk into town with plenty of choice of restaurants. A picturesque town with lovely buildings and full of character.

The guy at the reception who also served on the terrace outside was very friendly and extremely helpful with organizing taxis and selecting wines. The room was small amd simple but very clean and the bed was good
