Located beside Lake Großer Segeberger See, this non-smoking hotel in Bad Segeberg offers a free spa with stylish indoor pool, a restaurant with lakeside terrace, and rooms with balcony. The large spa at the Vitalia Seehotel features hot tubs, Japanese aromatherapy baths, and a salt grotto. Different massages can also be booked. All of the modern rooms and suites at the Vitalia feature large windows, satellite TV, and a bathroom with exclusive toiletries. Some provide Wi-Fi access. Rich buffet breakfasts and Mediterranean dishes are available in the Seehotel Vitalia’s restaurant. Food is also served in the conservatory and outside on the terrace. The Vitalia is a great base for exploring the Holstein Switzerland region. The popular beach resort of Timmendorfer Strand is a 40-minute drive away.

“Good, if a little expensive.”
Lakeside hotel. Outside looks in need of some TLC but inside is fine. Large foyer with friendly reception. Luggage trollies and lifts to upper floors. Our room had a balcony with views over the lake. Good evening food, if a bit pricey. Breakfast good too.

Vitalia Seehotel is next to the lake in Badsegeberg, only a few minutes from city center. Nice location, spacious rooms and for sure a real treat in summer.

“Besided dinner, perfect.”
The quality in rhe evening restuarant could be better. Dry fish, tough meat and rubber potatoes but additional long human hair in the salad.

“Not what we expected”
The spa facilities were pretty good (even if the bubble pool was not working) View from the restaurant also has a nice look over the lake Breakfast was ok
