“Disappointing, wouldn't stay there again”
Convenient location for visiting the surrounding area. Bad Schandau easy to get to by train/ferry. Accommodation slightly out of the town centre but within walking distance (through pretty park) to shops, restaurants and ferry to the station. Heritage tram (every 30 mins) also very close by. It is worth being aware that it runs right past the villa - could be a bit noisy if you had an apartment on the road-facing side. We requested (and got) an apartment on the side away from the road, so slightly quieter.

“Great place for hikers and the ones who'd like to feel Bad Schandau experience”
The location is just perfect both for hiking (the hike starts right from the door!!!) and easy walks around the city. Grocery stores and bakeries are in 15 - 20 minutes walks. We lived 3 days in the apartments on the 2nd floor with balcony and spent many hours after hikes just sitting on the balcony and enjoying the sounds of nature surrounding us. The interior design is simple, but nice. The furniture (bed, sofa, chairs) is comfortable. The windows views are amazing - you really feel the atmosphere of Bad Schandau. There is no extra fee for parking. The fee for pets is quite high, as everywhere in Germany, but we did manage to agree on discount.

Lovely spacious apartment within walking distance to the main centre. The kitchen was very well equipped. Comfortable bed though not a choice of pillows. Nice outdoor patio with table and chairs.The woman who showed us in was very friendly and helpful, arranging so I could do some clothes washing elsewhere. A very enjoyable 6 night stay.

Light comfortable modern atmosphere. Enjoyed the balcony. Private. Clean and clear and yet homey. Everything we needed was there. Great location to reach the city and many of the walking trails as well as tram and bus connections.

“Great place to stay to explore Saxon Switzerland”
Very good location, lots of space, kitchen, fridge, bed, bathroom - everything is good. Free parking slots are available outside. The tram and cars are not so noisy, completely bearable (at least after living in Berlin-Mitte). 5 minutes walk to restaurants. 15 minutes car ride to all hiking starting points in the natural park. Would definitely stay again.
