The hotel is really a gem. We had a large, quiet room with a balcony facing the park. The breakfast and restaurant is brilliant and offer plenty of vegetarian options. And the staff is super nice.

The location is really great if you are on a hiking trip. It’s very close to the old town and to a cosy park. The terrace is very nice although we did not use it (even though we wanted to). And to be fair, the breakfast was nice and so was the staff (which was different from the evening staff).

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Lindenhof Bad Schandau. From the moment I arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and perfectly organized. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive — you can really feel how much they care about their guests. The location is unbeatable: right in the heart of Bad Schandau, just a short walk from the Toskana Therme and surrounded by the beautiful nature of Saxon Switzerland. It’s the perfect base for hiking, relaxing, or exploring the area. My room was spotless, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. The cleanliness was outstanding, and everything felt fresh and well‑maintained. Breakfast was another highlight — delicious, varied, and clearly prepared with care. It was the perfect start to each day. Many guests praise it, and I fully agree. I also loved the rooftop terrace with its beautiful views over the Elbe valley — a fantastic place to unwind after a day of exploring. The on‑site restaurant served excellent food, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm, elegant, and relaxing. Overall, Hotel Lindenhof exceeded my expectations in every way: great location, exceptional cleanliness, friendly staff, and wonderful food. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bad Schandau.

Great historic hotel in a beautiful riverside town. Extremely clean and comfortable, with very professional staff.

They didnt let us go to hotels restaurant because our kid is coughing (alergic) . It is not a friendly place for kids at all. We noticed they made excuse of kid coughing but they actually didnt want any kid. Terrible experience .

Good afternoon, I would like to leave my review about our stay at this hotel. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by friendly staff. One of the women at the reception spoke English, which was very helpful. The reception area was beautifully decorated in a festive way. The room was well lit, the furniture was quite clean, and overall the room felt comfortable. We also really liked the location of the hotel, as it is located not far from the thermal pool. Overall, our stay was pleasant.

I especially loved the breakfast here. Very tasty and lots of options. The staff were very kind and helpful.

Staff was extremely welcoming, easy going and caring. The restaurant is also very nice and the local food was delicious and the breakfast was very diverse and everything was fresh and tasty. Every little detail was well thought through.
