Overview
The pearl of Saxon Switzerland welcomes you in the center of Bad Schandau, 100 metres from the River Elbe in the Saxon Switzerland region. The Elbresidenz features a 1,600 m² rooftop spa. The property also features a pool,sauna and gym. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. The Hotel Elbresidenz an der Therme offers elegant, modern rooms with a flat-screen TV. All have views either of the marketplace or the inner courtyard. Therapeutic treatments can be booked in the Elbresidenz’s spa, which overlooks the River Elbe. The large garden and park are directly next to the river. The Elbterrasse restaurant, on the river-side terrace, has Saxon specialities on the menu. The hotel also features a bar. Pets are not allowed. Guests at Hotel Elbresidenz an der Therme enjoy complimentary use of bathrobes and slippers in the rooms as well as free unlimited use of the Aurorabad pool and sauna area. Hotel guests also enjoy free use of the bathing and sauna areas at the Toskana Therme thermal baths, just 200 metres away via a direct footpath.

Quiet, comfortable hotel with great atmosphere, friendly staff. All personel was super friendly, Mr. Vit at the reception gave us one of the best checkin experience we ever had. Overall we enjoyed our weekend in Bad Chandau, we also visited Thermen and Sauna area is very relaxing.

“We loved the hotel and will definitely return in the future”
The balcony with the river view was wonderful, as were the thermal water place. We loved that it was possible to rent bikes directly from the hotel, though it was a pity they had to be returned by 7 PM and not later. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. We also really enjoyed the live piano music in the evenings.

Breakfast was best. We haven’t used Terme (because of heavy rain - Terme is about 50 m from hotel), but local swimming pool and saunas are very good as well.
